With a location across the road from the mainline railroad tracks and down the street from a RR Crossing as a drawback, the friendliness of staff, quality of service and condition of the hotel, always bring me back to the Hampton when I am in Clovis.

In my previous reviews, I may have over stated the issue of train noises. If you stay on US-84 (Mabry Drive), the hotels/motels are located just across the highway from the freight train tracks. However, the Hampton Inn is located perpendicular to the road and tracks; this helps to reduce or eliminate the sound. We have stayed here many times... More

Nice place! The only issue was I found hair in the bathtub before I even used it. Not a good thing, but overall it was a nice place to stay. The continental breakfast was very good, and the hotel staff was very friendly. I would recommend staying there.

Nice hotel but way to close to the train tracks. Trains come in all hours of the night excessively blow the horns. Wish this hotel would move closer to the base. Very depressed town but prices are a bit high

After a long day of traveling across country to visit with family, it was so nice to find a clean, comfortable hotel like this. We enjoyed our overnight stay. We would definetly stay there again when traveling.

Hotel beds are exceptionally comfortable, the breakfast is VERY good, with eggs and ham and waffles, fresh fruits, etc. It is across from the RR tracks, but I keep the fan on in the bathroom to muffle occasional sounds. Staying here with the friendly staff is well worth it.

Stayed for 3 nights in September, nice and relaxing atmosphere, easy check in at the front desk, asked for and was given a quiet room away from the elevator and railroad noise. The room was clean and had all the usual facilities including complimentary cosmetics and ear plugs............on account of some train noise, however, I had no need to use them.... More

We have stayed here several different times. It is always clean and the staff is friendly. The railroad is right across the street from the hotel, but the hotel is situated so that the rooms are at the back of the hotel and the offices , lobby and workout area are closer to the street. Never heard the train during... More

In town for our state HOG Rally. Excellent hotel and staff. Very friendly. Clean rooms. Ok the trains are a bit noisy but not horrible. Besides if you select a hotel 100 ft from RR tracks and crossing - it's going to be noisy. Not really the "hotels" fault. Christopher & Rachel were great! Hey, if either of you ever... More

Misty is the best. We were on motorcycles and it rained one day that we could not ride. Misty got someone to give us a ride to the store so we could get something to drink. And she let us stay in the lobby all day. All we had to do was ask and they did everything they could to... More
