Looking for a hotel in Cloudcroft for Memorial weekend...with a little dog.. Might be a problem. We found this hotel via the TripAdvisor app and Booking.com We got the last room and that was a big room ( nr 3 ). Personally I think it was a little too expensive as I am only looking for a place to sleep.... More

Amazing experience, the management and staff were extremely helpful. The rooms are awesome. The wall are thin and we could hear the people in the next room, but that just added to the charm. Parking can be a problem and of course there is no elevator, so you have to ready to do the steps. We loved Cloudcroft and will... More

Amazing staff, restaurant, bar and location. 100 year old hotel with a great story and staff. Beautiful location at nearly 8,000 feet above sea level. The resturant and bar serve unique food with a southwest flair.

Made reservation through Travelocity (big mistake) and had to change plans. After several tries to call Travelocity, finally got a cancelation. Because cloudcroft hotel wouldn't accept the cancelation a couple hours after their 48 hour policy, it costs us $100. Travelocity dropped the ball but won't admit it, Cloudcroft hotel treats you like New York, not New Mexico. I have... More

We are disappointed to hear about you poor experience with Travelocity. We wish you would have booked directly through us as we would have liked the opportunity to make things right. More

I like a nice hotel like most everyone else, but I will admit - when I go to the mountains, I want something a little more rustic. You know - that frontier feeling. Log cabins, rough-hewn siding, not the usual cookie-cutter chain hotel decor. The Cloudcroft Hotel fits the bill and is perfect for the area. It has clean, spacious... More

We chose to stay in the 100 yr. hotel (there is a newer building). The grand kids loved it! Quaint, rustic, and full of charm. The pedestal bath tub was a big hit. They were sorry not to see Mr. Jenkins (the ghost), but maybe next time. Would definitely stay again. Grand daughter left her "lucky horse shoe" but they... More

The trip up to village was beautiful and once we got to our hotel we were greeted with kindness and hospitality from everyone. The room we got was small, but very cute. The bathroom was gorgeous and we had a nice old fashion hot bath. The heaters and hot water work VERY well. The bed was a little small, but... More

Nice room. We were in number 8. It was plenty big enough for our family of 4. I loved the vintage decorations and old timely bathtub. My kids loved borrowing books and reading them. Only recommendation would be a DVD player in the room for movies. Also ran out of hot water quickly but no biggie. Would stay here again!

Maybe it was the altitude but driving up to the Cloudcroft Hotel my first throughout was "We're staying THERE?" but dang, it was the cutest place. Although we didn't have the room with the balcony overlooking Burro Street, our #6 was clean, well-furnished, and a perfect spot for a couple of nights in town. One issue was handled well by... This charming hotel is exactly as advertised: a period piece, reminiscent of the old west. My sister and I stayed the night and thoroughly enjoyed the ambience. Our room was large and clean, the beds were comfortable, the temperature was adjustable as we chose. We checked our email and slept well. Who could ask for more? We enjoyed dinner and... More
