This is a great find in Cloudcroft. Wonderful hosts and breakfast topped off with very comfortable accommodations. Perfect location just up the street from the main strip. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in town!

A sweet little retreat in a cozy mountain spot. Our hosts were very accommodating but we're not intrusive. Beds were very comfortable and baths adequate. A lovely stop on the way to Abilene. We made reservations at the last minute but felt like it was the best in the area.

Great location off the main road. The house is very quaint and full of beautiful antiques. Coffee is ready at 7:00a.m. and breakfast is served at 8:30a.m. Breakfast is very filling and homemade. Gail is very willing to meet any dietary needs you may have. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch, drinking coffee, and feeding the jays in the... More

Everything was great. . . the room, the meals, other guests, common areas, close walk to the bar & restaurant. The only issue I had was the owner likes to talk about religion & starts reading out of the Bible. . . and honestly I have my own beliefs I share with my wife. . . but not when I... More

We were looking for a special place to celebrate our 51st anniversary and my birthday, and we are so pleased we chose "The Crofting Inn" at Cloudcroft, NM. The historical residence is now a renovated B&B with seven rooms, wonderful decor, and a warm and inviting spirit, at 9,000 feet with 100' pine trees all around. The host and hostess... More

My wife and I had a most delightful time at the Crofting Inn. We enjoyed the company of our hosts, had a wonderful nights rest (the bed was the best!), and a great breakfast before we were on our way. The home is more than 100 years old, but has been updated just enough so the rooms were very comfortable.... More

The owners of this bed and breakfast, Gail and Scott, warmly welcome their guests. We stayed several days and enjoyed variety in breakfast menus and freshly baked cookies in the afternoons. Crofting Inn is in easy walking distance to the heart of Cloudcroft with a good selection of restaurants and shops. Our room was upstairs and included a small balcony,... More

We arrived via a motorcycle during a light shower. The street is not paved and steep. The proprietor met us while I attempted to park and let us know a safer easier place to park the motorcycle at a street that was on the downhill side, but still within view from our room. The living room and breakfast room was... More

This lovely two-story home (1906 or 1908) is up a quiet lane and surrounded by tall trees. Gail and Scott welcomed me to their B&B which is intensely personal with family photos and décor all over the place. I loved the quilts that were plentiful. My room was Spring #5 which had its own little balcony. Shower and loo as... More

Great service, great atmosphere, great rooms, GREAT breakfast. Scott and Gayle were extremely friendly and we enjoyed our in depth conversations with them. I highly recommend to all regardless of the length of your stay.
