Old and very basic, but clean and roomy. Our bed was very firm, which we like. Quiet except for the trains, but you are going to get that anywhere in Clayton. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. Park at your door. All rooms on ground level. Just right for an overnight stay on the road if you want to save money.

This motel does not have many rooms, but they are a decent size. It is definitely aging, looks old and tired, and is in need of updating, but that said it was clean. Walls are thin, so you do hear your neighbors. Lady working the little reception office was helpful. Wifi worked great. All in all, a good choice for... More

We enjoyed our stay here. Great over night hotel if heading from Texas to Colorado. Rates are great and lady that owns the hotel was very nice. Nothing fancy, but will definitely stay there again if heading back to CO. Would be great for local hunters.

We stayed here on the way from Dallas to Taos. When we turned in at the sign all we saw was a weed filled vacant lot. Much of the property burned down a few years ago and has not been rebuilt. The remaining rooms are back up the street a bit. When we finally found the office the proprietor was... More

My 10 year old grandson had a basketball tourney. after reading the reviews I decided to try Holiday. The staff was profesional& friendly. The rooms were immaculate. Very comfortable, he played on his ipad thanks to free wifi. Very quiet and peaceful. There was not a micro or mini fridge but it did not matter we were not staying long.... More

Very clean and a good place to stop between Oklahoma and New Mexico or Colorado. We stayed there last November and are staying again this July. We even had towel animals on the bed! They gave us ideas for dinner and had a small continental breakfast for guests. Friendly owners.

Contrary to recent post this motel is not closed. A portion was burned but the original motel remains open. This is a older property and somewhat "rustic" but our room was recently painted, very clean and spacious with a small fridge and microwave. The bed was extremely comfortable and the sheets smelled great. We were very happy to pay less... More
