I had to fly last to New Mexico to be with my son who had to come off the mountain at philmont because he has to eat gluten free and got gluten by accident. The staff at this inn has been beyond amazing and accommodating. The rooms we have had the privilege to see we're the southwest room and the... More

Looking for awesome vintage? This is your spot! Clean & safe. Just right for the husband and I on our travels. If you are snooty and demand heated towels, room service, $500 linens, ac (it was a comfy 68 degrees at night) and someone to lick your boots go on down the road. This little motor court took us back... More

My sons and I stayed in the Cowboy Cabin. A park model version of a cabin that can easily sleep six people. It is clean and fully equipped, and it even has a great screened-in porch. Serves as a great base to explore the beautifully scenic Cimarron area.

Not a lot of choices in Cimarron. This is an older place, with several one story buildings with several units as well as some multi-room suites. It's close to Philmont. It does not serve breakfast The plus - Slept surprisingly well considering the deep valley bed and ineffective A/C. It was basically clean, although the window sills were filthy. Non-HD... More

We had a really nice stay in Rm 10 at this motel. The owner was very helpful and friendly and it made our stay even better. Although the room was small it was very comfortable and well maintained. She also has some beautiful dogs including a Great Dane. Well worth staying here. You can eat at the St. James Hotel... More

Excellent location, with Philmont Scout Ranch about four miles away, the historic St. James Hotel just blocks away, and just sitting along the Cimarron Cutoff of the Santa Fe Trail. You don't have to go far to visit some amazing scenery and history. Be prepared to step back in time a little to a western themed, well maintained, clean room... More

Pleasantly surprised with this motel. My mother, daughter and I stayed in one of their rooms while my brother's family stayed in the cabin. We were on our way to Angel Fire and stayed over night at the INN. At first, when we pulled up, I was not too impressed. That all changed as we opened the door to our... More

An outstanding place to stay. The view of the hotel is deceptive. I was pleasantly surprised by the interior. If you're looking for a five star hotel with someone to give you constant attention, this isn't it. It is however, clean, reasonably priced, and has several amenities that were very helpful. The staff is wonderful and very efficient. I will... More

I actually live less than an hour from Cimarron. I was heading to Dallas for surgery. My car broke down about 5 miles East. I turned around and had to get a room because there was no way my car would make it home. The room I got was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and towels were wonderful! I... More

I stayed at Cimarron Inn in early October and had a great time. I was greeted warmly by the owner and she gladly gave us some local history. We had a small room, which I didn't find too small for two people. Don't expect a lot of walking around space, however. The room was very clean and quite charming. I... More
