My two friends and I stayed in the Kiva Room for 5 nights. We were very comfortable. The twin beds were just as comfortable as the queen. The breakfasts were delicious and very filling. Warm and friendly staff. We took various day trips. Brenda had good recommendations. Being retired teachers, we enjoyed learning some of the history of the area.... More

There is a reason we have returned year after year to this unique inn. Magical surroundings and exceptional service from innkeeper Belinda Bowling, Ester, and Lillian who treat you like returning friends and family. Breakfasts are unique and delicious. This quiet, historic home with recent updates is an ideal central location for day trips to Santa Fe, Taos, Los Alamos,... More

My husband and I spend two lovely and restful days at Casa Escondida. The room was very comfortable and the breakfasts were wonderful! I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone visiting Northern New Mexico.

This B&B is located in the countryside close to Chimayo, in a quiet location but not far from the only restaurant in the town and from the sanctuary. We had a very comfortable room on the first floor, large, clear and nicely furbished (decorated?). Air conditioning was necessary as rooms under the roof are hot even in autumn. Room equipment... Love this setting! Breakfast is awesome. Love the outdoors and rooms. Great time! Quiet and great staff! Close to Chimayo church. Love the green chili casserole. Great scenes for artists to draw or paint.

This B&B is between Santa Fe and Taos, making it ideal for persons wanting to visit both places. It is rural New Mexico at its best. In addition there are outstanding restaurants (try New Mexico style, green chilies) near by, which after a day of touring, make a nice dinner pleasurable. Just touring, try the trip over the mountain via... More

Discovering Casa Escondida was like discovering a silver mine. As a homesick former New Mexican, it felt like coming home. Belinda and her wonderful staff could not have been more welcoming. The breakfasts are home cooked, delicious and highlight the freshness of local ingredients. The setting, up a country road, was well-marked, therefore easy to locate. The grounds are lovely... More

A wonderful B&B off the beaten track. The kiva room was comfortable and filled with lovely furnishings from Northern New Mexico. Breakfasts were wonderful. The best experience, however, was to sit on the porch, coffee in hand, Griffin the cat next to us on the sofa, as the sun rose.

Very cute B&B with beautiful surrounding grounds. I also love the landscape of New Mexico but for those that haven't been there before - esp. in the outskirts of Santa Fe, be prepared for abandoned vehicles, trash and junk. It is sad that the locals trash such a pretty landscape but that is really what much of New Mexico is...... More

I love New Mexico and can say that my visit at Casa Escondida reflected the many wonderful experiences I've had in this enchanted part of the world. Almost perfect! Need to have filtered water for us eco-freaks who don't like to pollute with plastic bottles (did appreciate recycling option!) and night lighting could be lowered to be able to better... More
