We spent the night in room UNO. It was very nice. The room was spacious. The location is good..right across the street from the restaurant. I thought that the rate was reasonable and I would stay here again. The only drawback is that there is no wifi and no cell phone service.

We stayed here in 1990 for our honeymoon, and returned for our 25th wedding anniversay to find the same charming inn and the same wonderful restuarant across the street, run by the same family. This time we stayed longer, in fact we stayed here instead of in Santa Fe, and we loved every minute of it. Walking across the street... More

This hacienda could be sooo charming...but...the room we stayed in was musty! Not to mention the shower had mold around the tub and the pillows were so flat and smelly! The pillows did not have protective covers on them... only pillow cases, so I decided to place the bath towels over them. The bed comforter was ripped and had not... More

Very nice location between Taos and SantaFe. A nice retreat from the outside world as there is no TV, Cell or WIFI. The rooms are large and comfortable. We had adjoining rooms with my brother and sister-in-law, and we enjoyed evening discussions after a wonderful meal at the restaurant. The breakfast is continental and delivered to your room. Coffee is... More

We really enjoyed the quiet break during our ten day trip to New Mexico. Very refreshing to have no wifi or cell service. The cool mountain air was exactly what we needed to escape the summer Texas heat. Our room was charming with a small porch off the living room. Our breakfast was delivered to the porch. This place is... More

We have stayed at Rancho de Chimayo Hacienda a number of times. Comfortable rooms in a historic adobe building, the Sanctuary of Chimayo and the famous Rancho de Chimayo Restaurant-what else could you want?

We didn't stay here, but we did eat here. Awesome! Margarita and sangria was fresh and original. The sopapillas were so good with honey. The pork avovado was spicy and tasty! The outside seating was beautiful. And the staff was friendly.

We stayed here only one night in Room Uno. The room was large with a king bed, sitting area, fireplace and full bathroom. The place is very old and shows it, but not in a charming way. The floors were very creaky, all of the windows and doors look like they desperately needed to be replaced and repainted, the furniture... More

It is one of our favorites in New Mexico. Out of the way but worth the drive. Authentic NM food at it's best. Green chiles smothered over steak, I had trout (to take a chile break), both dishes were terric. Stff is super....so are the margaritas! Wish it wasn't so far away....one of our favorites.

I grew up in Los alamos, New Mexico so we have been going to chimayo (the restaurant) for lunch and dinner - to celebrate Christmas and other special family events - for decades. It wasn't until I moved out of state that I had the extreme pleasure of staying overnight at rancho de chimayo. What a magical and romantic getaway!... More
