Quiet. Clean. Comfortable. Highly recommend. We were booked for the train ride and stayed overnight here. Friendly staff. We walked through town. Great place to stay. Our room had 1 double bed and a twin bed. Very comfortable matresses. Lovely courtyard where we watched the hummingbirds. Just delightful.

My husband and I went to Chama in mid October to ride the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. We stayed at the Chama Station Inn. What a delight. Rosa and her husband Tony were fabulous hosts. The room was clean and so devine. I felt like I was staying at my grandmothers. Old wooden floors, beautiful rugs, an antique dresser... More

I came to Chama specifically for the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad, and stayed here for two nights in September, and I will definitely be back. I arrived around 9 but my key had been left in an envelope for me outside of the office. I stayed in Room #1. The room was clean and charmingly decorated. The coffee pot... More

This was the perfect place for our family to stay prior to riding the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad recently. We booked two rooms and were delighted with both. The place has just the right mix of old fashioned while being perfectly comfortable, and the owners are very accommodating. Just across the street is a picturesque old saloon and hotel... More

We made reservations with the owner and she was beyond amazing. Full of helpful information and options to suit our needs for the trip to ride the train. Small child friendly and grandparent question ready. Perfect spot to stay.

This place is a real charmer: nine rooms in total and all overlooking the garden. The host runs a gift shop as well. On the positive side, all rooms have a different theme or personality. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, a nice strong shower with plenty of hot water. On the negative side the rooms do not have a telephone (although... More

We had driven all day from Carlsbad, and were looking for a place in Chama near the train. Ended up staying here, room was very nice and clean, area around the hotel was quiet, and near two restaurants. Stayed with wife and 6 year old grandchild, would not hesitate to stay there again. Bathroom was small, but everything worked great.

Oh, OK the title of this is hokey, but we really did like the Inn. There are only 9 rooms, all of which are individually decorated. This is definitely not a chain motel. There are 4 rooms on the ground floor and 5 rooms upstairs and no elevator. Chama is a very small town so the rooms, which all overlook... More

If you get to Chama, NM and want to stay in an affordable and comfortable room, look to the Chama Station Inn. We stayed 2 nights in the "Train Room", and had a very nice stay. The room was decorated with a train motif, had a day bed, a full size bed, and a bath with hot water! There was... More
