Have stayed there past 8 years for a week and would not stay anywhere else. Great location with all the comforts of home. No frills but comfortable and reasonable. Location is perfect for the sights and sounds of the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad.

Great place to stay. central location. Clean and quaint rooms. being summer it was great to have somewhere to sit in the garden. i would strongly recommend. Across the road from the train museum so expect some noise. Nice cafe adjacent for lunch.

One of the nicest places we have stayed in a long time. We stayed in room 9, so yes, we heard the people upstairs as they walked around, but it didn't matter. Our room was very special, with lots of space, a fireplace, an outside sitting area with lots of beautiful green grass and flowers! The bar across the street... More

The Inn is directly across from the Cumbres and Toltec Railroad yard so you can hear the locomotive being worked on and moving with steam and whistle sounds. It might be annoying, but that is part of this places charm. The rooms are comfortable with old style furniture and a small bathroom. We never heard any noise from anything else... More

Now really, how many times do you have a room with a kiva fireplace? Room number 9 is downstairs and the folks upstairs are walking around a bit so we do hear them. Who cares? There is a bar across the street where I can get a few brews so I'll be out for the night. Just outside our door... More

At first when I arrived, the place look like it was in a rough part of town. But, when I got use to the place, it was just a nice quaint place to stay. The office is nice with things you can buy if you want a momento. Also, the Inn is kept up very nicely by the people who... More

Chama Station Inn offered a good night's rest in one of their charming, quaint (reminded me of my Grandma's house!) rooms on one of our many planning visits to Chama for a Shoes-for-Kids event held in Chama. The friendly owner & staff--especially Rose & Tony--made sure that we were taken care of...comfty beds,a meticulously clean, spacious room overlooking a beautiful... More

Wonderful! The property was so much more than we ever dreamed of. The rooms were adorable. Each room had it's own appeal no two were the same. The staff was so pleasant. Ice buckets were not the normal "motel plastic" but were actual insulated ice buckets. We stayed in room 9, one of the two with a fireplace. Beautiful room,... More

I stayed at the Chama Station Inn last week as an overnight stop on a road trip through New Mexico. It is a small motel in the center of town across from the historic railway. My room was clean, spacious, quiet, and with a home-like feel. It had all the amenities one might need (unless you are looking for a... More

Quiet. Clean. Comfortable. Highly recommend. We were booked for the train ride and stayed overnight here. Friendly staff. We walked through town. Great place to stay. Our room had 1 double bed and a twin bed. Very comfortable matresses. Lovely courtyard where we watched the hummingbirds. Just delightful.
