We choose this because of the location to the train. The clerk was very friendly and helpful. The gardens are gorgeous and we'll taken care of. Our room was upstairs and very clean. They have screen doors so we could enjoy having the door open. Our bed was nice, pillows good. No bathtub but a nice shower. Nice variety of... More

Our room had a very, very tiny bathroom. Husband couldn't even soap up in the shower itself because of size. No vanity in bathroom and very difficult to put makeup on or shave. Very poor internet service. Location to train station was a positive.

Super location across HWY from train station. Rooms are all unique with B&B feel although fully updated. No fridge or microwave, but we didn't miss either. Fantastic patio where you can enjoy hummingbirds and hear train activity during the day. FANTASTIC staff (Rose). Looking forward to going back.

My husband and I stayed here for one night while exploring a new property his family had purchased in Chama. It was a fun experience and we really enjoyed the stay! Rose, the hotel manager was so friendly and gracious, even though we had to bother her to come let us back into our room after we locked ourselves out!!... More

Great parking (rare in Chama) felt very safe - owner even left his garage open all day. GREAT breakfast. Room was a good large size. 2 drawbacks- 1) there were 3 steps to get to the bathroom they are easy to miss in the middle of the night. 2) need new pillows. Great towels, sweet owner/operator. Direct TV was nice.

Chama Station Inn is a gem in an out-of-the-way corner of New Mexico. The building is about 80 years old, but it is in pristine condition. The parking areas around the inn are dirt, but inside the compound is a meticulously groomed garden area perfect for morning coffee or afternoon refreshments. Reservations can only be made by phone or e-mail.... More

Very convenient location- on the only main street in Chama! It's about a 5 minute walk to the train station and all the shops in town. The room was good sized and pretty clean but it had a weird mothball smell to it. The biggest downfall of this place was the noise- it seemed like every time someone closed their... More

Two nights here at the Station Inn and I'd consider it a good value with its location right across the street from the station. As other reviewers have stated, it's neat to hear the steam and whistle in the mornings and afternoons. The location between two of the good restaurants in town, the Boxcar Cafe and the Foster Hotel restaurant... More

Stayed at Station Inn for two nights. What a great hotel! Apart from going to sleep to the sound of the steam engines on the Cumbres and Toltec Railroad for railway enthusiasts there was plenty of home from home comforts at this delightful hotel for railroad fan's partners. But it must be emphasised that the sounds of the railway do... More

Nice rooms and decor in a pleasant wooden house with a peaceful garden to relax in and run by very friendly people. If you want to be close to the sights and sounds of the lovely steam locos of the incredible Cumbres & Toltec Railroad then this is the place to stay; it is also next door to the historic... More
