It is difficult to separate the quality of the lodging and service at the Timbers from the quality and kindness of its owners, Bill and Rhonda Glisson. If you are in New Mexico, drive as quickly and safely as possible to The Timbers at Chama. This lodging choice is a perfect place to get away from it all. An absolute find! Beautifully located & appointed lodge -- we hated to leave. Loved the privacy of being "away from it all" and hearing the night sounds eminating from the woods. Nothing better than spending time on the deck in the hot tub and gazing at the night sky - hadn't seen the Milky Way in years because of city... More

We stay here at least once a year. It is the reason we love to visit Chama, NM. My wife and children (ages 10 & 5) look forward to it every year. The lodge is awesome, rooms are excellent and it is priced very reasonable given that a huge breakfast is included.
