We stayed in Parlor Car again to cross country ski nearby. When there is no snow where we live there is always snow in La Mangs Pass and Cumbress Pass area. It was as wonderful as during our previous stay. The owners are most gracious, we had the best conversation over yummy breakfast.

November in Chama......we had a great stay at the Parlor Car Bed and Breakfast. Food was delicious, room was quaint and comfortable and Wendy and Bonsall were full of great information about the town and the railroad. And Bosnall played the player piano for us! :-)

Stayed overnight prior to trip on narrow gauge. Owners are nice folks. Wendy and Bonsall are great hosts. Perfect location. Food was excellent. We got a better appreciation of the town, its history and the railroad from our hosts.

The Parlor Car is a cozy B&B with friendly hosts and hearty breakfasts. Our stay in Chama included a ride on the Cumbres Toltec Railroad. Our hosts were very knowledgeable about this train and were able to give us value able tips and historical background. This is a great place to stay if you're planning to take the scenic train... After deciding to ride the Cumbres & Toltec Narrow Gauge, we had to find a place to stay and chose the Parlor Car B & B and are so glad we did. Wendy and Bonsall were the best hosts - they were warm and inviting and made you feel right at home. Wendy's breakfasts were delicious and was just the... More

Fantastically friendly hosts. Super Yummy Breakfasts. Wonderfully comfy bed in lovely, cozy room. Check out Wendy's cook-book; it makes a wonderful gift for yourself or anyone close. Consider staying here; it certainly beats a motel room. And, you can walk across the street to the train station!

Wendy is a charmer and makes you feel like family in her home. The room and inn was very comfortable, and I have to give her extra credit for a perfect breakfast. Six months before we showed up she had already reached out to us to find out our likes, dislikes and can't eat things. The meal was just the... More

We stayed the night before our ride on the Cumbres and Toltec Railroad. Wendy and Bonsall were wonderful. We felt right at home, our room was comfortable and clean, with nice little touches like a pitcher of ice water for refreshment after a long car ride.

My mom, daughter, and I spent a night before riding the railroad. Wendy had a well-appointed room complete with cookies and personalized notes ready for us when we got there. She was most helpful when we were trying to select a dinner option and was well acquainted with the town, and the historic rail road trip that we were planning... More
