We stayed there June 2015. Once the lights were off, I could hear rustling in the kitchenette area. Then something crawled up on the blankets onto my feet!. I freaked out and switched on the lights on, I saw a mouse go into the stove and later exit out a hole in the bathroom wall! We blocked the hole with... More

Great location in Chama on a nice river. Too bad they aren't maintaining it. The camp spot on the river was nice, but weeds were overgrown and the deck they had built on the water was being some help. The cabin my cold stayed in can only be described as nasty. My mom says it probably hadn't been vacuumed since... More

We stayed here in our travel trailer and the spot was nice enough with a deck overlooking the Rio Chama but the tables were very old and splintery. The grounds were walkable enough but did have a lot of large old unworking machinery and cabin parts. A large family reunion was also there the wkend we were there and they... More

Meh. It was ok. I don't agree it was as bad as the really critical reviews on here, but the cabin I was in could have used a few upgrades. Whether or not you will be satisfied depends on what you are looking for: If it's just a cheap place for you or you and a few hunting or fishing... More

we stayed in cabin 5 it was nice and very clean there was 4 of us 2 adults and 2 children we fit perfectly. There was snow this past weekend so we had to turn on the heater, it worked good the fireplace was nice you just have to provide your own firewood.

We needed a cabin after getting snowed out of our planned ski trek to a yurt from Cumbres Pass...blizzard conditions, treacherous roads, and the nice place next door didn't have any cabins left. Cabin #5, a new cabin, was not horrendously dirty, but the sheets had that dried blood stuff mentioned above, the floors were bare and cold, the hot... More

Picture the worst place you have ever stayed at and multiply that 10 times and that is what the little creel resort is like. While staying there we stayed in cabin 10 it was a total nightmare. Starting out the pillow case had dried blood and dried boogers or what ever you wanna call it, the pillow was worse the... More

We stayed in this "place"and we were supposed to get a cabin but it looked like a changed camper into a cabin. The shower barely worked and it was so small you can't even shampoo your hair. The bedding and bed was so gross I was afraid to let my small poodle sleep in the bed. And the rest gets... More

This park is pretty rundown. The water pressure is very low & the WiFi is pretty much worthless. Its extremely slow & some things will not download no matter how long you wait. Some spaces are not to bad, most are level, they are plenty long for a big rig, They have a lot of cabins & they look in... More

In the past we've stayed here and enjoyed our visit, but this time it was disappointing. The bathrooms were very dirty and two of the toilets were out of order leaving only one. The trash was piled high even on the following Monday and it's a good thing the bears didn't get into it! Maybe there wasn't enough staff to... More
