Elaine is delightful and full of stories that will make you laugh. The breakfast is amazing!!!! They have the sweetest old black lab named Manny who loves to be petted, and the best views - it is located in the pine trees on a ridge in a mountain town 30 min east of Albuquerque. All the rooms are different and... More

We were buying a home in the Sandia Park area if New Mexico and needed a place to stay while we closed on the house. Our Realtor suggested this charming, quite large, log cabin BnB, and we are so glad they did! We arrived in the afternoon, and after navigating the well marked road up the side of the mountain,... This BnB is located adjacent to a national park and Sandia Crest. It was so relaxing and peaceful and an oasis from the city of Albuquerque! The rooms were amazing and each one a unique retreat with private bath and some with their own private balconies but all with stupendous views! The food was excellent with daily variety in offerings... More

We stayed 2 nights at Elaine's and we enjoyed every minute. It's out of the way, tucked into a mountain road. We enjoyed the peaceful patios, the babbling brook, outdoor hot tub, delicious breakfast. The mountain view from our balcony was breathtaking. We just couldn't ask for more. The multi-level lodge is full of interesting nooks and crannies, all decorated... More

It's a ten out of ten. We arrived at this amazing place, the location is breathtaking. When we arrived we were greeted by her sweet dog and she guided us to the door. It's a beautiful house, so cozy and inviting. We had the Library room and it was full of books which we loved. The absence of a TV... More

On our recent trip to NM, my wife and I chose to try to experience as much of the area as we could. This included staying in several areas, trying to stay in B and B's as much as possible. We came to escape the below zero weather of Wisconsin, however, the weather followed us! We arrived during the "worst... More

During our first 2 month independent tour of the USA, Elaine's B&B was our first B&B - honestly, Elaine and her other guests, some of whom have been visiting as friends for over 20 years, made our stay the most memorable of all in the States. We were in Albuquerque to enjoy the mesmerising World Hot Air Balloon Fiesta and... More

We were in Albuquerque for a couple of days and wanted to stay in the mountains rather than some generic hotel in town. Elaine's BnB fit the bill perfectly. We were only about 15 minutes from our venue in town, but it seemed like a world away. Loved the log structure, the views, the beautiful setting and especially our hostess.... More

We stayed here for 4 nights during the balloon festival. We loved the location and the quiet surroundings, just a short drive to Albuquerque but felt very secluded and away from it all. The whole house is beautiful and we loved our room (manzano) which was beautifully decorated, extremely spacious and with stunning views. Elaine was an exceptional host and... More
