I like this hotel and its great location looking out over the valley. The room was comfortable, bathroom good in one of the annexe's of the main hotel. Lovely cups, tea and a kettle provided in the room. TV as well. Had a good nights sleep here. Dinner not brilliant and breakfast ok. Only criticism the room doors did tend... More

This a lovely property, and overlooking the valley. The food is good. I was the only guest in this large property, and yet service was slow. But it's a pretty place to spend the night. Stray dogs can keep you up all night though.

After reading some of the reviews here I was really worried. However, the cottages were really nice, being welcomed with tea/coffee and a hot towel was also nice and the dinner was very good. A bit old fashioned, but quite charming nonetheless.

I did new this hotel from my past travels and I did now that it's quite outdated. I also checked reviews here and was expecting the worst. And finally... It was totally ok, hotel was recently renovated, the rooms were spacious, clean with nice balcony and very modern bathroom. The food and service was excellent. I had very nice stay... More

This hotel classified as a 3 star would be better a 2 star as reasonble. If we look back on our 1 night stay this hotel would end with a barely a 1 star. This because personnel was not handling the problem (toilet not working) and that they would be left lying makes it unacceptable. Even for dinner and certainly... More

Stayed here midway through our trip to Bhutan. The location is great: on a hill overlooking Punakha and close to a nunnery built by the father of the current queen. When we arrived the property was relatively bustling with three 10-15 person tour groups arriving at around the same time. The rooms are cozy and clean, though not nearly luxurious... More

For the amount I paid for the required tour, I had hoped for a bit more than this. It looked like it might have been very nice at one time but had since run down. We stayed in one of the cottages buildings. The walls were so thin I could hear someone using the bathroom in another room. I could... More

Staff never once smiled, our cottage was shabby, not very clean, towels stiff and gray and worse of all under the thin sheet was a stained mattress. Dining room smelled of old oil and food inedible. We love Bhutan, have had delicious meal in roadside cafes and wonderful friendly service everywhere but here. This place needs to either have a... More

This hotel was booked through a travel agent, and the moment we stepped in,realised it was not the place. It was noon time, and nobody bothered at the reception.the staff was totally indifferent. The room was very small ,and there was no water in the bathroom.we checked out ,as even after an hour, there was no one to respond. The management seriously needs to pull up...
