Rinchenling lodge is a family hotel quality managed by a couple of owners. It is a big country house with an apple garden. Every room of the hotel has got wi-fi and is equipped with a small stove with extra firewood. So, it is very pleasant to relax there, to warm up the body and muscules. Moreover, there is a... More

We were a group of three families on a holiday at Bhutan and stayed at Rinchenling Lodge for 2 nights. What should I say....It was indeed a fabulous stay!....The highest point in our trip. The lodge is very comfortable and very well managed by the family which owns it. The hot stone bath was very traditional and refreshing. The food... More

I stayed in the delux room which was great. I was not pressed with the food( i had breafast only) they try to maintsin the ethnic cuisine, which i respectfuly acknowledge. But it didnt suit my indian taste buds . Staff was cooperative and courteous. Very helpful . But the biggest problem was how to call them ! There s... More

I stayed three nights in Rinchenling. The room was beautiful cottage style with both iron stove and electric heating. They always made the fire for you in the evening and if you needed help with it any other time they had a sign you could hang outside of the door. The service was very attentive and friendly. The best part... More

We stayed for three nights in April at Rinchenling and loved the bukari and the friendliness the most. Tenzing made time for us every day, always enquiring about our activities, our home, our comfort. This family run hotel is a gem in a gorgeous country. Enjoyed the homemade plum jam from a tree in sight of our room particularly. They... More

This Feb I travelled alone to Bhutan via Lovely Bhutan Travel's arrangement. In Bumthang, I stayed in Rinchenling Lodge for three nights. I like their excellent services and warm hotel layout. Expecially, I enjoyed a lot of its quite and peaceful atmosphere around this lodge environment each morning.

Really nice hotel. I was in the new lodge section which was great. Stayed 3 nights, could have stayed longer. Food was great, they even do requests (had yak one night). Extra spice available on request. Staff brilliant could not do enough for you. Its a bit out of town but close to a small friendly village and some amazing... More

I loved this place! Unfortunately I only stayed for one night but I wish it would have been more. The in-room bukari (wood stove) heats up the room in no time at all and there is even a backup electric heater you can turn on at night so you wake up to a warm room. The bathroom does not have... We stayed in one of the suite room which looks like a temple! Interesting and very nice decor in the room. The room is newly renovated and the bed is comfortable. There is no tv in the room and Wi-Fi connection is rather weak. Wi-Fi at the restaurant/bar area is good. Bathroom is clean hot water shower takes a while... More

A cosy atmosphere in this long time family hotel, with a nice garden in the country side. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. The clean room we had (in the main building) was rather simple (small and cramped). Probably the (newer) bungalow rooms are better value. The food though is excellent. Also the quarters for drivers/guides were reasonable. The... More
