Stumbled upon this place after a hot and weary 5 km walk from where the bus dropped us off. 400k dong for a giant high ceiling two-king-bed room with $1000 view of the river in 2 directions. (Room 4) Good Wi-Fi weak water very helpful staff. We realized upon returning to Saigon that we had left a couple important items... More

This is a great little place. Fantastic view of the river and the market below. Cheap. So excellent value. Rent bikes took on cross river ferry. Helpful family with good English. Good restaurant a literally a few doors down to the right as you exit hotel. Market with food just around the back. It all happens on this corner. Basic... More

Nice location at the riverside. Rooms are spacious but old, and smells really bad (at least the two we looked at). We tried to have the window open for a couple of hours but it didn't make any difference. Someone elses hair was left in the sink but besides that it was clean. The bathroom was nice but we couldn't... More

This very friendly family-run hostel is located at a convenient and exciting location right next to a street market, a karaoke bar and the river side. We could listen to karaoke singers at night and watch the early-morning bustling of the market vendors from our window. Still the room was quiet with closed windows and also very spacious with large... More

There's little accommodation in Vinh Long but this is a basic, no-frills, spotless, cheap, well-positioned guesthouse with about 6 spacious, clean, sparsely furnished rooms with huge floor-to-ceiling windows giving great views of market stalls and river on one side. Despite being on a corner of the riverside road and by part of the market, it was quiet. The loud karaoke... More

Were in our early 60’s. Our prerequisites and not necessary in this order are; Location; (√) clean; (√) quiet; (X) Wi-Fi; (√) being able to communicate with staff. (√). We chose the Van Tram for its views of up and down the river. Other reviews spoke of the karaoke bar over the road. Its “music” starts at 6pm and is... More

we stayed here for one night. for what they offer and for the hospitality I have to say that is quite expensive. no breakfast is included. the owers are not so funny! the position is good, the rooms are quite big and you have a good view of the river. English talked is the minimum to understand each other. Filippo

We wanted to visit the Mekong and somehow we ended up in this cute little town. The hotel's surroundings are ideal to get amongst and experience the Viet culture without having to venture far. Stay up high and get views of the markets and the Mekong. The rooms aren't fancy but for what you're paying you would not find better... More

We arrived back in Vinh Long on the An Binh ferry (in our case, after a particularly disappointing homestay experience), and Van Tram Guesthouse was the first budget accommodation that we encountered; we were happy to get a room there. The location is perfect - from our room on the top floor, we could see the beautiful Mekong, and the... More

Contrary to the review previously we had room 1 and thought it was great. Very spacious with a balcony perfect for watching the town go by. We were worried by the noise from the street but everything seems to shut down by 10pm. Really friendly & helpful staff who speak good enough English. Great location near the river & markets....
