Firstly - the Palace Hotel is the same as the Palace 2 Hotel. I'm not sure why it's listed differently on different sites. Rooms are lovely, very clean, modern. Staff are nice. It's not really that near to the ferry to Phu Quoc - in a straight line it would only be about 4 minutes... But there's a river in... More

We went to Rach Gia and stayed for 1 night before we travelled to Phu Quoc. The hotel was good consider what we paid for it, but the location was not really nice. There was lack if restaurants, and the people there was not to friendly comparing to other places in Vietnam. At the hotel the staff was very friendly,... More

We stayed here for one night in transit from Phu Quoc to Can Tho to look at the city. The walk-in price was very good (550.000VND/night) and the room was very large, nicely decorated and clean. There was no breakfast included but directly next to the hotel you can find a cheap "restaurant" to eat and drink. They also book... More

Visited this hotel for couple of days as stop over on way back Island trip. Basic but clean. Close to ferry and down town. Never ate there but restaurant appeared very simple. Cheap & Cheerful. Restaurants nearby also shops to buy basics. Not a lot in Rach Gia itself. Hotel located 20 mins from airport as its morning flight from... More

Current November 2012 rates are VND 650,000 but a 10% discount is available if you are a large group and can negotiate in Vietnamese. Rooms are tiled and clean with daily laundry service. Drinking water is chargeable. The first floor restaurant is now a conference room but snacks and coffee can be had at the ground floor cafe and outside... More

We stayed at the Palace Hotel the night before we took the boat to Phu Quoc. It is close to the water and only about 5 minutes by taxi to the boat dock. Although it is on a quiet street in a newly developed area, it is only a block away from a busy thoroughfare with lots of stores. The... More

We stayed here for 2 nights before catching the ferry to Phu Quoc and had a lovely surprise. This is a gem of a hotel- one of the best we have stayed at in Vietnam. It's brand new, very clean, with beautiful fittings. The reception staff were very helpful and could speak good English. Location is great too - quiet... More
