Poor quality for the price - dearer than classic Vietnamese hotels in Saigon and Hue. Uninterested staff, limited breakfast selection and pool over chlorinated. It's a very tired place and rooms dated and lots of Russians so not much English spoken. The island itself has some pleasant parts but wouldn't rush back - the best parts are Sao Beach in... More

I'll first say the one negative and that's the staff- however being in Vietnam you get used to the way they treat people. They're a little rude and don't make the effort to try to understand English when we try so hard to comprehend what they're trying to say. It was mainly at the tour desk where communication was difficult... More

I am the leader of or cultural group that came here. There were 25 of us and we used many of the rooms. The rooms were very nice. Two of the rooms had a problem with air-conditioner leaks that was fixed right away. The bungalows and suites are much nicer. Especially the suites, which or something like out of MTV's... More

Fantastic location - near night market and good restaurants. Beach access and loungers are great. Lovely pool area. Rooms clean and tidy. What let's this place down is the rude service at reception, the restaurant and beach area... Very bad and sometimes offensive.

The location of the hotel is good, the beach is nice, the room could be nice...BUT the level of training of the staff is too poor. Bathroom was not clean when arriving and despite having requested to come again, nothing was done. A glass of cocktail in front of the door was left by the customer before us and we... More

My husband and I recently spent a few days (and the New Year's holiday) in Phu Quoc, and stayed at the Sasco Blue Lagoon. Previous Trip Advisor reviews prepared us well for the pros and cons of this resort and we agree with most of what has been said. Pros: Location of the hotel - in the heart of the... More

To put it in a nutshell Blue Lagoon is a "vietnamese style" 4 star hotel. So better suited for middle class locals than for foreigners with high standards. No internet in the room (only by the pool or in the lobby), subpar breakfast if you look for western treats, average room..... pros: conveniently located (close to the night market) So... More

These guys had to have given themselves 4 stars because no one else would unless paid off. Let's start with positives. The location is good. About 10 minutes walking from the market area which is great. Get all the access to fresh seafood whenever. The beach itself was nice as well. Unfortunately that's all the positives. First off we booked... More
