We loved it here. The resort is right on the beach. The villas are spacious, and comfortable. It is an eco reort, so there is no air conditioning. There are three fans in the room. Staff pull the mosquito nets and set up the fans in the evening. The first night we diid not use the fan by the bed,... More

As guests who are quite hard to please it is rare that we can spend 10 day anywhere and not have a few gripes. In the case of Mango Bay, it is hard to find fault. Quite simple, it's very, very good. Accommodation - our plantation bungalow was spacious, clean, airy and comfortable. Restaurant - after five trips to the... More

We really enjoyed our time here. It's a great place to do unwind. Nice wild beach with crystal clear water and beautiful coral reef. The food on the whole is really good and there is plenty of choice. The breakfast were also the best we'd had in Vietnam. At night there is a night market offering fresh seafood at reasonable... Stayed at this hotel twice in the last year. Both times have been good experiences. Once was during the season and once off season. Off season (late in the year), the weather isnt too good and the buffet breakfasts aren't as good. The menu's are shorter. Good value with the activity centre for a day out snorkelling - that was... We stayed at Mango Bay 4 nights but could have stayed longer. The location is amazing, the beach and view from the room really beautiful. It's all "eco-lodging", everything is charming, comfortable, not too luxury. The beds are good and bathroom is huge. The massage was great and restaurant too. We ate there every day and still had food to... More

Mango Bay's location is perfect, its restaurant & standard of meals are excellent, but we were far from comfortable. The resort is situated only 15mins from the airport, with transfers included & the taxi fare to the main town was about $10. Although the restaurant is good & the quality of the food excellent some of the staff were surly.... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at Mango Bay Resort at the start of February this year. After being in Vietnam for 4 weeks prior to our arrival, Mango Bay was the perfect place to completely relax before heading home. Our recommendation would be to stay in one of the Plantation Bungalows at the northern end. The Plantation Bungalows are amazing,... More

The good: Beautiful, peaceful setting with comfortable bungalows set in natural landscape. Lovely waterfront restaurant with excellent food at very reasonable prices (given you are captive) and great a la carte breakfast (not usual desultory buffet). Terrific cocktails as well. Excellent service which is rare for Vietnam. Not so good: No a/c in the bungalows and it can get quite... More

I spent three nights at Mango Bay in a Verandah room, April 2012. Even having researched the property, I wasn't really prepared for the complete tranquility of the resort. It is utterly delightful in every respect. The private beaches are clean, the staff are as friendly and helpful as you'll find anywhere and the rooms, while a little basic, are... More
