If you're looking for somewhere to relax and enjoy nature, this place is the bee's knee's. I noticed a few people complaining about some ridiculous things, but if it's what you're after you'll find these things the hightlights.... like the sound of the ocean at night and the breaze coming through your open bungalow. The staff were amazing, the food... More

Mango Bay was suggested by a friend of ours, and proved to be a golden tip. The service level could not have been higher, the room was spatious, clean and wonderfully situated, and the atmosphere of the restaurant, beach bar and basically the entire resort is very professional yet laid-back. Very child-friendly as well; with plenty of toys and places... More

My stay at Mango Bay Resort was interesting, to say the least. It's not that I wasn't mentally prepared for the eco-hotel's lack of air conditioning, mini fridge and outdoor bathroom full of little critters -- trust me, after visiting Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries multiple times these things weren't even considered inconveniences -- it was more of the... It was an amazing time when we stayed for our honeymoon there although it was the rainy season in Phu Quoc, it rained everyday. We were very happy and impressive with the service which Mango Bay Resort gave us. The breakfasts were remarkable. We have to thank the waiters/ waitresses team who were always available and friendly for their excellent... More

Mango Bay has a very unique style. It's quite far from the airport and the road coming to the resort is quite rough but you don't have to worry, they always offer free pick up . It's an eco resort. When you open the shower room, you will see a very open view to the garden, which is quite impressive.... More

To me, this place was just right. I booked three nights and stayed six. A sort of ideal getaway, tailored for relaxation. Very laid back vibe and a lot of privacy if you want it and hanging out at the beach bar or restaurant if you feel like being with people. I wasn’t expecting the grounds to be so extensive:... More

Mango Bay Resort is one of the better options on the island. It is isolated, yet easily accessible if you have a motobike or car. The restaurant and outside bar is what makes Mango Bay. The food is great and well-priced for the quality. Since staying there as a guest, I have returned 3 times as it is by far... More

My wife and stayed here at the end of May for 3 days. It is a wonderful haven of peace - with lovely beaches and real 'eco' credentials. The food is excellent and there is a very strong, friendly staff team.

I stay with my girl friend here during my last trip in Vietnam in February or 2014 for two days. I don't expect much. To my surprise the service here is above my expectation. I called Mango Bay Resort and inquired what is the best way to reach Mango Bay from the airport. The on call manager ask me if... More

This resort feels intimate yet you don't feel stuck there either. It is the best place to go if you simply want to enjoy good food, nice service and hear the waves all day. Services offered on the spot are really good as well: free snorkeling, free yoga sessions, and free movies at the beach bar at night. you also... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This is a low density resort, driven by a passion for the environment, intelligent use of materials, and strong support for island culture. Mango Bay is tucked away off the beaten track, with Vietnam's first rammed earth bungalows, enclosed by beach and protected forest. There are no air-cons, television sets or telephones in the rooms for a true fusion with nature at the island's first eco-friendly resort.
