We've been to the restaurant twice and have loved it! It's a beautifully clean beach and it was so empty! Stunning views! The food was restaurant prices and average to good food. I'm a vegetarian and there wasn't a lot of options but our friends said their seafood was some of the better stuff they'd had on the island. It's... More

Friendly staff, beautiful rooms, best beach view, amazing fresh seafood, top services. Tour guide was excellent. The tittle " A destination for a peace of mind " says it all. I cant wait to be back next summer

This is a really nice, relaxing resort. We spent 5 days there .The staff are excellent, friendly and plentiful.,helping us get into town by motobike . The food is delicious and healthy . It takes 30 mins to get into town . For us, this added remoteness gave us just the getaway we needed and I wouldn't have stayed anywhere... More

We stayed there for a couple of days, the bungalow was very nice and clean, the whole resort is a little bit run down though. No electricity in the bungalow during the day, and at night they only manage to run lights and fans on like 50% of their regular capacity. We paid 20 USD per night, others even got... More

We were traveling around the western part of the island by motorbike. We checked out the beaches, farms and part of the national park when we saw a sign for Gio/Gia Bien. We decided to stop in for lunch. Save yourself the dusty bumpy trip. The grounds were dirty. The bathrooms were uncleanly. The food wasn't worth the cost and... More

We visited Gio Bien Resort for New Year 2012. We booked accommodation from an agency in Hanoi. The price we paid was the biggest rip-off of our 20-day stay in Vietnam. A lot of them tried one way or another but these guys definitely won the best rip-off prize. The price we paid was 70$ for an air-con bungalow but... More

We didn't stay here but visited for lunch while on a trip to the north of the Island as friends had mentioned they were moving there for 4 nights. We found it to be - there is no other word for it but - dirty. Not just the beach ( which was dirty) but a stagnant canal or moat on... More

Very quiet place, lovely staff and bungalow was quite ok. But with the electricity, a lot of problems. We had a bungalow with aircon (we were told that the price was 30 USD/night with a/c), but the price they asked in the end was 50 USD/night!!! We agreed to pay 35 USD because of the problems (many days and nights... More
