The rooms are very rustic, with brick walls and very basic interior and very limited hot water. The mattresses are extremely hard and there is no safe in the room. They have lockers at the reception instead. All you have to do to access your valuables is tell them your room number. We did not feel very comfortable leaving our... More

If you desire a return to a more casual life this is the place to visit. Mai Spa has a simple structure to it, with the kitchen a covered building on the immaculate beach serving all day long. Tables are either on the sand at water's edge or a few under the hard roof extending from the kitchen. Rooms are... More

We lived in the garden-view bungalows. The interior is really cozy. The first night we were scared because of the squirrel lived on the top of the roof. But once we've figured that it was a lovely animal - everything went ok. The beach is really close to the bungalow. It's very clean Everyday we were watching the beautiful sunset.... More

Great food; I got the vietnamese beef salad & my friend the white tuna. Amazing nicely done plates (like in a real restaurant) and the food had great taste. Great setting on the beach & not to many tables nor people around.

We loved our stay at Mai Spa. Now, don't think this will be the best resort you ever see. It's pretty simple and most employees do not have a lot of experience or speak English. That said, we had a good time. there are few bungalows with sea-view and some with garden view. We had the garden-view and it was... More

We arrived a bit hot & sweaty from HCMC to a warm welcome and then taken to our beach front rooms. We opened the door to find a basic rustic room, very clean and tidy but when we walked out to the balcony and saw our outlook for the next 5 days we fell in love with the place instantly.... More

It is my first time to Phu Quoc and I was really excited to visit this relatively untouched island. I chose Mai Spa Resort for my getaway and I am incredibly disappointed. First, I booked this resort off of Agoda.com. Big mistake. If you are misled like I was and book the wrong place, you are stuck. Don’t use Agoda.com.... More
