My boyfriend and I stayed there for one night. This place is so peaceful and romantic at night. The food is very well. We can eat while looking the sea. The staff are very enthusiasm, friendly. We had a wonderful time in there. Thank you.

We came here because of an offer in agoda, 7€ per person in a sea-view bungalow. It sounded so good... No internet. Well, there was but it wasn't working... Everything expensive. As the hotel is far from EVERYTHING you are forced to get drinks(hot drinks...) or food from there... The beach isn't nice and it's dirty full of crap and... More

We booked this place in advance, cause we wanted to be in a quiet place. And it really is quiet, maybe too much. There are no other restaurants close by, so you are pretty much in the mercy of the hotels restaurant, which is a bit pricey (except the tofu dishes), especially in the evenings when t gets pitch black... I went there alone and could have passed four days without any of the staff speaking a word to say hello except from the two ladies who clean the rooms which are clean. I wouldn't have minded a hello even if it has been in Vietnamese! Admittedly the owners grandmother had died just before I got there and there was... More

A mixed bag. Like I said, the food was great, the location and grounds were good and the room was actually pretty good value. However, don't come if you are a fan of good customer service.... The staff are slow and seem unengaged, which is fine for a while but when you are staying for a number of days it... More

Awful is being polite - we too left 3 days early despite paying for 5 nights with no refund. Everyone in the place looks miserable when you first arrive - after a short time you realise why and become miserable yourself! The resort is 30 minutes and an expensive taxi ride from the city centre. The road is absolutely shocking,... More

Mai Phuong Beach Resort is very badly managed and this is reflected in everything about the place. The service and food is very poor. It's definitely a backpacker place and if they charged backpacker prices, you might forgive them, but when you're paying $75 dollars for what is called a deluxe room, you are being completely ripped off. Our room... More

Hot water was not available most of the time. TV not working. Most staff couldn't speak English at all. When paying 50 USD a night we are expecting much more than a backpackers place. The beach in front of the hotel is very bad for swimming and only visible when it is low tide.

This place was a bit off the beaten track and a bit of a long taxi ride, but it was worth it. The bungalow on the beach was special and very peaceful among the palm trees. The food was delicious and bountiful. The beach itself didnt have a lot of sand but a short walk to the spectacular beach around... More

My husband stayed here recently, booked by Viet Sea Travel. Was told it was close to Long Beach and town, IT WAS NOT! A taxi cost $30 from the airport. The Beach was a rocky small cove not really suitable for swimming. Rooms clean enough, eating area grubby, unswept, dogs everywhere. He stayed one night and then checked out. No... More
