This place was definitely not the nicest place but considering it was on the beach and we had air con we were quite happy. The rooms are basic, they don't clean your room for you but that seems to be the same for many budget hotels in SE Asia. The beach is nicely set up for you to spend the... More

Our "adventure" with Moon Resort started by my wife emailing them to reserve a room. They quoted us 25.00 per night for a private en suite, aircon room. She even called them to confirm the next day. When we arrived - they denied the email and phone call and told us it was now 40.00. We had all of our... More

There are two types of accomodation, basic bungalowhuts with fan and sometimes hot water and bungalow buildings with aircon. We stayed in a basic hut, for 20 dollars a night. The rooms are very close to the beach, where they also have a nice beachbar. Pros: the beachbar, nice sanwiches, pool table, the staff are polite an freiendly. Cons: A... More

Rooms: You are basically camping if you get a bungalow here. Camping is great. But expect to be woken up by the rooster that starts going off at 5am and doesn't stop until 10am. Yes, there is a ROOSTER that lives here!!! And your walls are literally paper thin. There are a million mosquitos in your room - which is... More

We stayed here for four nights and had a fantastic time. The beach front location is lovely and the bar is run by friendly staff who make great cocktails. The bar is social with people from other hotels also appreciating the location and atmosphere. We stayed in a bungalow with a fan. It was not worth the $25 a night... More

We came to Moon Resort with the worst of expectations derived from the reviews on this site and others. The worst of my expectations were not met (I have a very gruesome imagination), but that being said, there were plenty of other problems, mostly management related. First off, we arrived at around 7 PM after our VietJet flight was first... More

First of all, you need to know what you're getting into when you book this place. I've read many reviews from people who seemed surprised by what they experienced. This place is cheap, but we found that after 4 days there, the staff is pretty legit and the overall experience our group had was quite nice. The bungalows are pretty... More

We happened by this place by accident and thought it looked like an idyllic beach-bungalow resort, but after our 2 night stay we couldn't wait to leave! Our room- W4, was delapidated and filled with rat droppings and cockroaches... the sink in the bathroom was hanging off the wall, and the toilet was broken and filling up with discusting smelling... We stayed here based on a good review by Lonely Planet, but assumed we were at the wrong place!! The 'rustic' cabins were nothing more than dilapidated hovels. There was rat, lizard and God knows what other crap all through the room and the whole hut was on a precarious lean. We could not secure the place at night and... More

Hotel has good location but poor bungalows and service. If you book this hotel through Agoda be sure that owner will charge you twice and you will have incredible problems to get your money back. After 3months we received money from Agoda because owner did not want to discuss about it...I do not recommend
