We stayed at My Lan during the off season and payed $60/night for a nice clean and spacious room. Looked far better than the other places along Sao beach. We pretty much had the place to ourselves so the staff were just standing around most of the day looking bored. The gardens around the bungalows were untidy and with lots... More

We stayed at My Lan for two nights. I'll start with the positive sides of staying at My Lan: Beautiful beach and sunset, and the area feel very remote and is closed in on both corners by cliffs. There is a restaurant about 150m north of My Lan which has way comfier sunbeds (100k per day) and really great food.... More

The staff is very rude and they care more about tourists from daily tours than guests. The restaurant is nothing special and very very dirt with rubbish everywhere. Full of rats running from the bar to the table and on the dishes!!! The beach is fantastic... Unfortunately during the low season you have no choice but this disgusting place... Better... More

We stayed 2 nights at guest house, very thing was ok. Do not expect service and foods better. Do not compare a guest house with hotel 3 star or 4 star or resort. If love beautiful beach come here to enjoy day long with white sand, blue sea and more sun. We love Bai Sao beach - the best beach... More

First of all the place is beautiful. The rooms are new, clean and big and the beach is to die for! BUT.. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. When we arrived the place was visited by 300-400 groups of Vietnamese tourists - the owner told us it was an everyday-thing. Although they left at sunset it wasn't the romantic... More

Currently @ Sao Beach you only have two choices of accommodation this is one . Positives are its cheap and clean however the beds are hard by western standards, breakfast is a bit hit and miss as was dinner but you get that ..it's not the Ritz and nor are the prices . While the staff aren't that service oriented... More

My housemate and I decided to stay at a lodging near one of the beautiful beaches, Bai Sao. We were not disappointed with the beauty of the beach. The lodging, around $55 a night, was not bad either. The bungalow was nice, modern, and big. Inside they had a king size bed with side table lamps. We slept well during... More

We visited the beach by scooter and saw the bungalows we decided to give the place a try despite the reviews. Unfortunately the previous reviews where right we should have known better as our previous stays have been based on T A reviews and have been good. The rooms where nice and the food was ok but it is poorly run... Let's start with the accommodation, the bungallow ( we had the seaview) is really nice, big, modern, nice bathroom, the shower room is huge, there is hot water, bed is comfortable, we had even a sitting area with a sofa. The only downside was the fact that one of the nights we have've had a gecko on the bed, although... More

Location is amazing as it is right on the most beautiful (but dirty, sigh) beach of Phu Quoc. Do not expect any sort of activity after (on top!) 9pm, as the barman will go to sleep quite early (poor guy, he's awake since 5am or so...) so make the most of it during the day! It can get *very* full... More
