First of all the place is beautiful. The rooms are new, clean and big and the beach is to die for! BUT.. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. When we arrived the place was visited by 300-400 groups of Vietnamese tourists - the owner told us it was an everyday-thing. Although they left at sunset it wasn't the romantic... More

Currently @ Sao Beach you only have two choices of accommodation this is one . Positives are its cheap and clean however the beds are hard by western standards, breakfast is a bit hit and miss as was dinner but you get that ..it's not the Ritz and nor are the prices . While the staff aren't that service oriented... More

My housemate and I decided to stay at a lodging near one of the beautiful beaches, Bai Sao. We were not disappointed with the beauty of the beach. The lodging, around $55 a night, was not bad either. The bungalow was nice, modern, and big. Inside they had a king size bed with side table lamps. We slept well during... More

We visited the beach by scooter and saw the bungalows we decided to give the place a try despite the reviews. Unfortunately the previous reviews where right we should have known better as our previous stays have been based on T A reviews and have been good. The rooms where nice and the food was ok but it is poorly run... Let's start with the accommodation, the bungallow ( we had the seaview) is really nice, big, modern, nice bathroom, the shower room is huge, there is hot water, bed is comfortable, we had even a sitting area with a sofa. The only downside was the fact that one of the nights we have've had a gecko on the bed, although... More

Location is amazing as it is right on the most beautiful (but dirty, sigh) beach of Phu Quoc. Do not expect any sort of activity after (on top!) 9pm, as the barman will go to sleep quite early (poor guy, he's awake since 5am or so...) so make the most of it during the day! It can get *very* full... More

The place is nice, isolated, beach is amazing blue green with white sand. The hotel is calm during morning and evening and a little busy during the day with at that time more local tourists than foreigners. People from the hotel are nice and helpful, and the price is worth the patience you re investing. Foos is ok but nothing... More

My husband and I spent two nights at My Lan and we found the service to be frustrating and rude. While there are upsides to the place - nice beach, decent rooms, good food – the level of service was enough to make us never want to return and to warn others about the low-quality of the service. When we... More

I booked a bungalow with fan with breakfast for two people for 60US$ per night. Stayed 2 nights there & felt in love with the beach. They gave me a room with aircon on the second row. They have many new rooms now. True that they only comb their part of the beach in front their guest house. If you... More

Great location on very big nice beach. The hotel is good place to relax and get away to a city life. Clean and big bungalow with excellent airconditioner. Very good location for breakfast, in shadows, only few meters from beautiful sea. Unfortunately the breakfast is with very limited food choices. Only one additional restaurant, at a distance of about 50... More
