It's always nice to return to Grand Park Hotel. Visiting my wife's family at least once a year, we always make this hotel our base. There is nothing flashy about it. It's unpretentious and everything just works. The rooms have everything you would expect as a Western traveller, including satellite TV. The location is great, too. Downtown and within walking... Our room was very nice, comfortable, and clean. The hotel is quite large and they are not used to having westerners, there is very little english spoken so be prepared to act things out if you have any problems. The staff was all smiles though. It is in a good location with plenty of food options around.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in Nakhon Sri Thammarat, which certainly has much to offer the visitor. The National Museum is one of the best in the country - the museum is very clean and the objects are well lit and clearly described in English and Thai - while the museum at Wat Mahathat was full of interesting and unusual... Rooms have been renovated with new flooring and they have wifi in their rooms now. Best part is they still have the same low price. Service was great. Checked in late after returning from Samui and got two joining rooms. Was surprised that they had quite a few English channels. A/C didn't work in our room and they sent someone... More

Good, clean and comfortable rooms. Probably one of the 3 better hotels in the city (the others being Twin Lotus which is located quite far from the city centre, and Ligor). For the room rate charged, you can't go very wrong with this as an option. Hotel is centrally located and within minutes of most amenities and the train station.... More

We stayed as tourists but most other guests were there for conferences at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with good air conditioning. The location is fine, most things in town are within 10-16 mins walk. The only let-down for us was the breakfast. You can have either American or Thai - the Thai was fine but the... More

Large rooms, plenty of natural light, central yet quiet location. Didn't eat breakfast there as they didn't have a bfast buffet. If you go to Hao coffee the coffee is excellent but don't ask for soft-boiled eggs. There are some excellent restaurants in NST though it helps to know some locals. I gave service an average mark because at reception... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, having moved from the Nakorn Garden Inn across the road. The stafff are very helpful and friendly and while there's no 'ambience' to the hotel it's spotlessly clean and light - a huge contrast to the Nakorn Garden. Worth asking for a room on the upper floors as there are some good views over... More

It definitely wasn't the most romantic place you could ever stay, but given that Thammarat is a bit off the beaten path, we were hoping for clean and safe, and Grand Park definitely delivered. After the first morning we skipped the hotel breakfast and went around the corner to the coffee shop in the bazaar on the main drag where... More
