I stayed here twice. Once going north and the second time on my return south. It's for sure one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in (in terms of cleanliness and friendliness of staff). There is a strict no-smoking policy at the hotel but they have an area outside for smoking. As a smoker myself, considering the price of... More

Stayed for 2 nights in a double fan room for 300 a night. Reserved the day before via email without any problem. Room was super clean, bed comfortable, really nice little balcony with flyscreen so you can leave the doors open at night, ceiling and stand fan, TV, fridge. Location is walkable from train station and we also walked to... More

This guesthouse is just in the center of town, close to bus terminal 1 and many eateries. The room is spacious and equipped with all the necessities. The best part is the friendly and awesomely helpful owner--offering good and budget-friendly tips for reaching some destinations in one day and writing down Thai words/translation/pronunciation for me to order local food!!! The... More

Had 1 night here passing through on the way to Phimai and Phanom Rung. Room was clean and had a nice balcony. Staff were helpful and attentive. Bathroom left a little to be desired, but, all in all, a comfortable and cheap stay.

I stayed at Sansabai House for 3-1/2 weeks in January 2014. I can quite honestly say that this is one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. Twice during my stay I returned to my room to find the chambermaid tucked behind the TV cleaning the skirting boards. It is so clean that even the fish get a bath... More

We had some difficulties with them when exchanging e- emails in August. Eventually they accepted my reservation and asked for a sort of reminder few days before checking in (I do not know why). When we got there the receptionist did not find any reservation and said the hotel was full; but then offered us the last room in the... More

This hotel/hostel appeared as a top choice in several guidebooks/forums, was stated as underpriced for the facilities they offer. Checked it out and it turned out to be very true. Paid THB 300 for a fan room (visited in Dec n weather was rather chilly, in fact didn't even use the fan at night). Very clean and well-maintained, simple queen-sized... More

Our great value en-suite room on the top floor of this quiet hotel was spacious, neat and clean with a comfortable double bed, fan, fridge with free water, TV and small balcony. English is limited but our booking made by email and reconfirmed 2 days before arrival worked well. There's a small selection of drinks and snacks available in the... More

There is a big advertisement outside Sansabai House: "Free Wi-Fi" (see the photo). I asked at the desk if the free wi-Fi was working in the room and the young lady told me there was free Wi-Fi in all the guest house. As I wanted and needed free wi-fi, it was an important point in my decision to sleep here.... More

A last minute decision, I decided to take a train to see Khorat and Phimai. I emailed late afternoon asking to reserve a fan room for the night and asking the price. I received an email 15 minutes later that fan rooms were 300 baht and there was availability. However, 20 minutes later, and before I could check my mail,... More
