I want to be as thorough as possible on this review. The manager was really nice and did comp 30% of the hotel stay which was decent but for my experience I would have paid 3X more to have had some decent sleep. The hotel overall is ok but run down a bit. The rooms have a moldy smell to... More

Jose, thanks for your feedback. I'll apologise for the roaches in the room. There was a lot of rain (it is the wet season here) and construction going on in the building next door. Whilst our staff did their best, insects of all types find their way into the building looking for somewhere dry. I have made sure we do... More

We are a bit surprised by the negative comments. My girl friend and I have stayed here several times and noticed none of the negatives concerns expressed. First of all, any hotel near a beach in the states includes American girls wearing a lot less than the girls in the Score Bar. The management keeps the activities within the score... More

The staff is very friendly and efficient. Good food served at the beachfront. Prices of room and food are quite reasonable. Parking is a bit of a problem if you are taking your own car. There are bars a short distance from the hotel. These are frequented by foreigners and locals.

The Arizona was an interesting place to stay. While having family rooms it is not a family friendly environment. We stayed 2 nights and left early mostly due to repeated requests for our 3 children to be quite. This was a little confusing as i could always hear music and people laughing and talking at the bar and they were... More

Thomas, thanks for your feedback. You robpealing were traveling together. You review is almost identical to his. I'll revisit my responses from that report... There is background music in the resort, and people do talk and laugh. As for the children, they were noisy, and their screams could be heard inside the reception area. They disturbed other guests in the... More

The Good: The food is very good and there is an extensive menu. The staff are very good and helpful. The rooms are clean. The Bad: I felt as if I was staying in a brothel. There is an adjoining bar called "The Score Bar" which advertises over the door "sport and pretty girls". The attire of the "pretty girls"... More

Thanks for your fairly personal feedback on the resort. We appreciate all our guests getting back to us with comments. We’ll deal with the ‘Ugly’ first. Progress is necessary. We are currently building more rooms, so there was construction going on which changed the look of the resort at the beach. Your stay also coincided with an early monsoon, with... More

The 2nd time staying @ this hotel wasn't as great as the 1st time. The room is small but clean. The 2" ledge on the shower floor isn't a good design. If you don't close the shower curtain while you are taking a shower the bathroom where the toilet is will get flooded cause there is no drain. I feel... More

If you want to eat the best schnitzel, Arizona is a must. mmmmm....not to mention the mash potatoes....delicious. Seen one review of the restaurant but it's in German I think, but I am figuring he had much to say about the 'top restaurant', it is really nice food. Hotel I can't speak about but from the outside I am figuring... More

My stay at the Arizona was a great experience. I spent twenty (20) days at the Arizona and did not have a bad experience.
