I recently stayed in Wild Orchid Resort for 6 nights at last days of July and beginning of August 2014. Although I had troubles on my arrival with the room a booked which was Garden Jacuzzi suite (bugs) and then changed to another Jacuzzi Room (yellow tap water)... finally I moved to a third room (second floor, balcony room #202),... I was a guest in this hotel when this incident occurred. My friend, billeted a few rooms down, personally witnessed/heard the foreign manager (caucasian gentleman, maybe mid-late 50s, australian accent,in the presence of PNP officers) attempt to extort the Korean guests to "make the issue go away" and if they did not cooperate he would personally see to it they... I stayed at the Wild Orchid for 17 nights during May and I cannot understand why there are so many negative comments left for this hotel. The hotel is reasonably priced compared to others in the area and has great facilities. The pools are fantastic and are great for spending a lazy days until it's time to hit the town.... More

I looked around quite a bit online before deciding to go with the Wild Orchid. I had booked deluxe pool room and was hoping I would have a room right at the pool as the advertising stated on Agoda. However that was not the case, I was on the 2nd floor and nowhere near the pool and you could not... More

Have again visited Wild orchid although food is still lousy and there's an incredible bad service, it is both in terms of quality and speed. I was once again back because of they still have the best swimming pool. But when it comes to the pool, then the reserved to plople NOT staying in the hotel, this applies throughout the... More

We had booked a dubbel room though internet 5 months in advance, but the day we arrived, they told us that two men were not allowed in the same room since they did not offer twins beds. On internet, on them website, they dont say such a thing! We had to go out of our budget to buy two rooms... More

There is only one reason to stay in this part of Angeles, and that is the nightlife. If you are here for that, then the location of the Wild Orchid Resort is unbeatable. While the rooms in the older part of the hotel are not that great, I can recommend the rooms in the newer Lagoon wing. The value of... More

For 500 peso you can use the hotel pool a stuff, the great thing is that you are then in credit for 500 peso to spend on food and drink while you are there! So in effect it costs nothing to use the pool!

I've stayed in the lagoon rooms which are superb and you can literally step into the pool from them. Other rooms are so so and pricey by local standards. Nevertheless the hotel is well run with friendly staff and the location couldn't be better. The food is above average without being outstanding. Overall a great place to stay in Angeles.

If you're going to spend time at the hotel, this is a nice place to do it. The food is good, the pool is large and nice, and every month they have some sort of attraction going on. If you just need a place to sleep, its kind of pricey. But the location is good, near all the action.
