The AC didn't work and the room smelled bad. The service in the bar downstairs was terrible. The staff girls are rude and unhelpful. The internet didn't work and when I complained I was told I could just leave. I left and I will not be back.

I stayed at Brass Knob for 1 night and checked the next night, Internet almost non existent, when it worked. The ( CR ) bathrooms, in very bad shape, they where clean but the towel hanger was coming of the wall, still no big deal, but no hot water and when the water came out it just trickled out. The... Good value for many, but VERY unstable and slow Wi-Fi internet. If you need to be online sometimes then better chose another hotel. If internet is no crucial for you, then this hotel is not bad option.

Stayed there on previous trips. Under new management. I was given a confirmation on a deluxe room. When I arrived, it was not availab le. I was given a standard room and the air con. was not working properly. At best the ac was a little cool. In this heat, the room was always warm. The overhead celing fan was... More

We have stayed at the Brass knob several times and always been satisfied. This time though we found out that the staff went trough our safetyboxes when we were out of the rooms. The mangement did not want to compensate us. I lost at least 100 USD and my friend at least 1000 THB, We had some different currencies in... More

Have stayed at this hotel many many times in the past. Roy and Tess the previous owners were great with good people skills and they took care of their staff and their customers. The new "owner/lessee" Cameron "Australian", (I'm Australian also and have been involved in the hospitality business for years), simply could not be bothered to even say hi,... More

The Brass Knob is priced for the budget minded traveller. It is comfortable but not fancy. You will get what you pay for. The spa on the roof wasn't working so that depressed me a litle bit. The food is good, the service is ok and the rooms are clean. The big advantage of the Brass Knob is everything is... More

I stayed there for 20 nights. Got used to the music, from the bar which I could only just hear, even though my room was above it. Staff are fantastic. Room was always clean. Short 5 minute walk to Fields. Convenient for bus transport to Olangapo Food is good. You pay and get more than you expect.
