It is now known as Rudang Hotel, Berastagi. We came for a family trip (11 of us).. Travelled for 5 hours from lake toba expecting the hotel was great... But it was a nightmare. The room were dirty and smelly, stains are everywhere on the curtain and the bedsheets were wrinkled. We called the frontdesk, housekeeping, and room service using... More

This hotel new is name is Royal Rudang Berastagi. Nice and cool weather same like cameron highland in Malaysia. From your room you can hear busy road traffic, children playing at swimming pool, but good thing is you can nearby masjid recite AlQuran and Azan. Having thought going to nearby masjid to perform solah but as musafir, Allah give sedekah... More

Terrible stay! The room is dirty, stain everywhere on the bed sheet, and smell dust, seem like long time didn't wash, got itchy skin when you lay on it, totally can't sleep well on the uncomfortable mattress. There are very dim light inside the room, one of the bulb is blinking. Broken window above the door. And the room they... More

We took 3 rooms for our overnight stay. This is a part of our 4 days - 3 nights tour of Lake Toba, Samosir island, Si piso-piso waterfall, Berastagi and Medan. The rooms were in poor condition. Our connecting rooms (306 - 307) had mouldy door which has not been opened for ages. The door would not unlocked. We called... More

We took 4 rooms for the vacation The room is so humid, along with smelly and very low quality matress and pillows. We have to complain and wait fir hours to get hot water. How come they dont provide such important thing since Berastagi is a cold area. The staff that handle our complain was also not friendly. There is... More

We stayed in this hotel during our trip to Berastagi. The room is spacious and clean. International plug adapter was provided and it really helped us. We enjoyed walking around the hotel because it has a beautiful landscape. Breakfast was served in the restaurant next to the lobby. Local and western food are both there for us to choose.

Horison Berastagi is located near the main street of Berastagi. Its could be reached by public transportations. In front of the hotel, there is a local church, so we could hear God songs from there. We arrived at 7.30 pm, then the room boy dropped us by golf car to our room. The room is clean and looked nice. Also... More
