I had great hopes for this place but it didn't deliver. It feels like it has definitely seen better days. The room seemed dirty and not well cleaned although it was neat. The bathroom looked like it had mould everywhere. It's a shame for shuck a large hotel to be like this. The staff were all nice and helpful so... More

I stayed here for an unplanned trip on 29th March 2014. it was a busy long weekend so i didnt expect too much as long as me, hubby, a toddler and a baby had a quite comfortable place to stay. surprisingly the hotel was good. we stayed at a one room cottage. it was quite old but very clean and... I stayed here for about 10 days. This hotel was homy for me and I would like to go back to this hotel when I were there again in Berastagi. 1. Staffs were friendly. As I arrived in this hotel at 2 am in the morning, the check in process was quick 2. Large swimming pool, there was also tennis... More

Dear Dian Aldebaran : Thank you very much for your recent stay and candid review of our resort. Rest assured we will do our utmost to improve ourselves for your next visit. The point about houseflies is the problem we are looking to solve for years. It does not result from improper waste management but from neighbouring farms during the... More

After our One(1) night in Parapat we stayed ONE(1) night here in Berastagi on our way to Medan. This hotel was looking good ever since the bus drove into the premises.. Pro's: - The Hotel is situated in between two active volcanoes (how cool is that ..=)). One of was Mount Sinabung has recently erupted about 2 weeks before we... More

stayed here for a night. - nice view and weather. we can see the Mount Sibayak from the hotel. - nice room -> quite well maintained except for the toilet (needs a bit of renovation) - staff were helpful -> we wanted connecting rooms (went with my family) and they changed it for us without any hassle - i think... When we went back to Medan from Sidikalang and Toba lake, we stop by at Berastagi and decided to stay one night at Sibayak Int'l Hotel. We arrived around 6 pm. Parking area is large but the building is old with traditional design. Front office served us slowly and we have to carried up our luggages from car by ourself.... More

We stayed in the junior suite (rm 122) in sibayak for one night. The room was nice but the toilet flush was not working. The hotel premise and facilities look good however we did not have time to use them. We cut short our stay from 2 nites to 1 nite as we wanted to spend more time in medan.... More

Old fashioned and a little run down. Rooms are very random like in a Business hotel. Nice staff, food is ok but expensive. Wifi in the Lobby and Restaurant. Helpful for organising a tour. Very big rooms but not stylish. Like a best Western.

This is a really nice property as location is good with fresh air and scenic mountain view. Our 2rooms (inter-connecting rooms) were okay but there weren't much ventilation in the room, no fan and quite warm inside the room. This is due to their window gap is too small, unable to open a wider gap and is very stuffy especially... More
