Back to Berastagi again after 4years, I choose to stay in Wisma Sibayak because it's getting dark and we are so tired after spend one day travel from Lake Toba. The twin room is very basic but the price is 200,000(without breakfast), toilet are not so clean and there is no hot water in the room. If you want hot... More

When we initially arrived my boyfriend and I exchanged glances, the place was covered in dust! Turns out it wasn't dirt but volcanic dust from the recently erupted volcano!! Wow! Berastagi is a hidden gem, well worth a visit and this guesthouse is cheap and basic - all you need for a nights stay. The owner Betty made it particularly... More

I stayed here one night, did a volcano trek early next morning, and then headed off to lake toba. It was perfect for one night. Simple and clean. Pretty quiet if you imagine it on the one main road in town. The people are friendly - not everyone speaks I English but if there's need for English speaking they usually... More

The room was big and the people are friendly enough, but it's not anything outstanding. I wouldn't eat at from their restaurant and the kitchen is not at all clean. I was told the place was almost full, but I never saw any other guests. Maybe it would best to stay here as a larger group, I wouldn't recommend staying... More

We wanted to stay at Nachelle's Homestead, but they only had two rooms free and we needed three rooms, so we stayed here instead. A reviewer below says that they stayed here for Rp. 100,000 per night with their own bathroom. Not sure whether they stayed here or somewhere else!! We paid Rp. 250,000 per room with our own bathroom.... More

We had a great time at the Wisma Sibayak Guest House. The rooms are very simple - they first showed us a room downstairs and as we didn't liked it we had one upstairs and it was much better. Really really simple but ok for backpacking. We had a shower but for 10.000 you could have a hot (really hot)... More

The service we received in this hotel is among the best i've ever experienced. The friendly ibu(lady) at the reception was very helpful and answered all our queries in a detailed and concise manner. The food was good and reasonable. The location is central. And the rooms are decent. Great value for money. We paid 60k IDR for the room... More

We stayed one night at the guesthouse and paid 100.000 Rp for a room with our own bathroom. The room was okay. The location is great. You are staying directly at the mainroad and can reach everything in the centre in a few minutes. The staff is very nice and helped us to organize transport to the vulcano as well... More

We stayed in the cheap rooms behind the main building which were really cheap, we also stayed here last year. This time was a little different, due to the eruption of sinabung ash had covered the guest house and was still falling. So it felt very dusty but the staff were doing their best to keep everything clean. The food... More

we stayed in a bungalow which is clean and nice although the furnitures are old. the bathroom was a little bit disappointing cause we had to wait about 10 minutes before the hot water worked. the food was average. but overall it is a nice experience and worth the money spent.
