I was very disappointed with this place from arrival. The location was 25 mins walking from central Seminyak and you had to walk down a dark alley to get here. Rooms need a re vamp. Cleanliness was poor - former guests toothpaste in the shower / bin now emptied on arrival. Shower pressure 1/10. The place is dated and online photos don't look like the actual property. The pool area had 4 sun beds, shaded mainly.

Positive points: good price, the pool is large and nice, the staff super friendly, the location is close to the beach and there were good restaurants options around. But the hotel has suffered a lot from the covid crisis: the closet door was broken, the A/C was running but it was always warm, water was out for a few hours and without any warning (which isn’t funny when you are waging your hair…) Also the drivers were always getting lost trying to find the place, really narrow streets and their restaurant wasn’t functioning at all (but also did not offer other alternatives, eg. ordering take outs for their guests…)

This place is hard to get to, narrow entrance and service isnt that great. First night I had bed bug bites. They changed linens and sprayed no other problems. The pool is nice but the staff does not clean well. Very limited car parking so ride a bike or u wont have a place to park. The water is very poor, rust ur razor after one shave. Otherwise its a quite place but it about all thats good here. If u start ur car at night the owner will complain even if the car is quiet. Many better places to stay in Bali and I am looking for them. Utopic is a much better place to stay.

Very clean, friendly and helpful staff. A bit “rustic chic” as it isn’t a new place, but carefully maintained and VERY comfortable and convenient to all of Seminyak. As the Artemis is set back about 100m from the main road, it is wonderfully quiet and tranquil compared to the hustle & bustle outside. Our room was nicely appointed, we especially appreciated the medium-firm king sized bed which meant we slept really well. Didn’t see a single mosquito (could have been the time of year but housekeeping also lit the occasional mosquito repellant incense which also smelled quite nice). Extra plug adapters provided. Restaurant was well priced, food served quickly & was very tasty. Didn’t want to leave! Highly recommended for couples, groups, and families.

Pictures do this place justice for sure. Really nice one bedroom villa, clean and spacious. Super friendly staff, helpful when needed, nice quiet location and still close enough to all the action. Pool is well maintained and very picturesque, sad to leave but happy to know we’ll be back soon.

I was upgraded to a villa outside the main hotel - a house with front garden, big space, two beds, super comfortable to sit on the front porch in my little yard. But there was a festival the next night (the villa is beside a yoga/food prep area) so they moved me to a different vila room with kitchen etc behind the pool. More modern and comfortable, but no outdoor area. I liked the quirky charm of the villa more. The pool is small but clean and relaxing. There was a big group that kind of took over and only three pairs of sun chairs. Breakfast has three choices and the Mexican was delicious. Staff was super friendly and helpful, showing me different options when they advised me to move. Location is about 3 mins from main road where you can find tons of food and stores, bars etc.

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of our trio to Bali to celebrate my husband's 60th. Of the 5 places we stayed in (I alerted them all beforehand) this is the only one that made no effort to acknowledge it. We booked the studio apartment which looks NOTHING like the pictures. It is dark, musty and pretty grimy looking. We complained and were given an upgrade which was much better but told that we could only have it for 2 nights as they were full. On our return to our depressing room, we found it was even worse than we originally thought. There was no plug for the bath and the water coming out of the tap was a mere drip, so showering was impossible. The electric socket at the side of the bed was hanging out, blinds were filthy etc etc. Location was great but unless you're staying in one of the villas, I would give it a miss

We stayed 2 nites and is our best experience in Bali, having been to Ubud and Jimbaran. The villa is huge, bathroom huge and a nice living room with full equip kitchenette though we didnt use it. They clean the whole place and maintain neatness and tidy all the time. Staff were very warm and friendly. Breakfast was great as you get to choose from menu and is made fresh, very enjoyable. Lovely pool and well manicured gardens. Comfortable Super king size bed ! One of the best bathroom I have experience in my travels, consciously designed to serve its.purpose, functional yet beautiful with so much wardrobe space, allow you to pack yr things neatly within easy reach. water runs powerfully in the shower head, is rare to have in Bali. Clean & fresh smelling towels, all amenities included, make the whole stay so complete and comfortable. Will return for sure !

We stayed here for a week and loved it. The location was good and close to some lovely restaurants ,bars and also the Beach . There are also money changers and a Star mart ( small supermarket ) that are very close to the Villas on the main road. It’s also close to a range of Spas if you want a massage. Pool was great and very relaxing too

Artemis is located within walking distance to the beach and all the entertainment in the seminyak area. The staff were all very professional and delivered excellent, genuine service. The villa offers a variety of accommodation, from hotel suite room type, to all size of villas. I stayed at G3, 1 bedroom villa with plunge pool. The room was big, the bathroom big, the living room and kitchen was also big. The villa was very private. The breakfast selections were plentiful and good. When I return to Bali, I would definately return to Artemis.
