We chose this venue for a birthday celebration. What a great choice. Every detail was taken care of. Nothing is too much effort for the staff. The food was fresh and beautifully prepared. The spa treatments were top notch and even Gemma the dog lives the brand value of 5 Mountains Lodge. Thank you to all, we will definitely be... More

We stayed at 5 Mountains for our wedding and that definitely wasn’t our last stay. We hope to go back there for our anniversary as our experience was amazing. They go out of their way to make sure that your experience is a special one and there is no request they will not try and accommodate you with. The cottages... More

Five Mountains Lodge, in the foothills of the eponymous mountains, is a small paradise. Five cottages, each unique, a beautiful pool, wonderful hosts, the best massages in the Cape, fruit trees, stunning walks (if you can drag yourself away), only the sound of cicadas and guinea fowl interrupt the silence.

We had the most wonderful mini break here over New Year. The staff could not of been more friendly, the setting was beautiful and the treatments first class. Days spent lazing at the pool, lunch served under the trees on the lawn and lots of swimming. A jacuzzi, steam room and sauna are on hand and the whole atmosphere is... More

One of the best-kept secrets in the country. A complete getaway an hour's drive from Cape Town where you can do exactly as you please. It is tasteful and authentic, nestled in the most beautiful, pristine surroundings. Above all their secret lies in personal service and attention to detail. Best value for money we have seen in a very long... More

At the foot of the Bains Kloof Pass surrounded by wine farms. We had 4 wonderful nights. Hands on owners in Pam and Roger nothing was a problem. Great value and undoubtedly the best massages we've ever had. Thanks Naomi and Ronald.

This is the perfect place to go, if you need some pampering and peace as a couple. From the moment we arrived, we were doted upon. Very good value for money, beautiful setting and a lovely jovial host in the form of Roger the owner. Special mention to the two spa therapists Ronald and Naomi. You delivered beyond all expectations.... More

This place is a great find- the hosts are extremely accommodating, the spa therapists Roland and Naomi are EXCELLENT and first class. As the lodge only has a few guests at a time, you get a very personal, quiet and relaxing experience. It feels like home away from home, as though you're visiting relatives at their gorgeous country house! I... More

A relaxing and magical weekend. The trip was a surprise from the boyfriend for my birthday. Reception was friendly and efficient. The cottage was dreamy...fresh bedroom, spacious bathroom, cosy patio and romantic private log fired jacuzzi. The 24 hour facilities (pool, sauna and steamroom) were thoroughly enjoyed. Afternoon tea was spent with the kind and warm owners of the lodge. What... More
