We stayed in the zebra room. The design of the room was great. I almost felt like a zebra myself (haha ;)). The host was very friendly. We had a nice and spacious room. The breakfast in the morning was very nice.

A hearty welcome by the hosts, speciality Rain soaps and lotions for guests, each room theme dedicated to a particular animal. The before-and-after pictures detailing the progress of the renovation process was interesting. Impangele offers a pleasant stay and loads of advice for curious tourists. It is affordable and very adequate for the local visitor passing through.

Really enjoyed our stay here in sleepy Swellendam. Friendly family-run place, where the hosts will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Beautiful setting, lovely building and comfortable rooms decorated by theme. Highly recommended.

Felt most welcome on our arrival and had a very pleasant stay. Loved all the detail and imagination given to the décor in the rooms. Most enjoyable breakfast with a good selection to choose from. Will come again. Harold and Anita Peel

Everything was great, would have loved to stay longer as it is perfectly positioned to explore this exquisite area of South Africa. Incredibly good value for money (we booked a twin room and were given the cottage). The proprietors were exceptionally warm and welcoming, informative and lots of fun! A lovely personal touch was the storyfile of how Impangele was... More

We had a lovely overnight stay at Impangele. Overlooking the peaceful valley while enjoying a delicious breakfast was a perfect end to our holiday. We liked all the small touches and effort you make in making sure everything in the room fitted your theme. Thank you to Amanda & Dave.

Amanda and Dave are the most welocming owners I have met in the last 3 weeks of travelling. The rooms are excellant, breakfast could feed an army and the area is so relaxing. Both owners are a fountain of local knowledge. When Dave discovered I had a problem with parking he immediately suggested an alternative spot so my pride and... More

We had a fantastic stay here. The owners made us very welcome (British couple) and we were made to feel at home. They recommended various local restaurants where we could have dinner. They also told us about a zip wire which was less than 5 mins away. We went there the next day and our kids (and my husband!) loved... More
