We stayed overnight in Impangele on our way down the Garden Route. The cottage itself is a renovated house and the attention to detail in converting it is phenomenal! We stayed in the Zebra room and were furnished with everything ranging from Zebra pillows to slippers to bathrobes. The owners were exceptionally friendly and kindly provided some local wine for... We were warmly welcomed by host David and shown to our cottage. It was well appointed and had everything needed for our overnight stay. The price was also very reasonable. I can recommend it and will make use of it again.

Our welcome at the b&b was warm which was contary to the weather. We were shown our themed rooms.... giraffe and zebra rooms..... where it was evident that allot of care had been put into theme-ing the rooms... bedding in zebra stripes, hot water bottles in zebra stripes, shower caps in zebra stripes but the best was the zebra gown... I cannot recommend Impangele highly enough. The amazing hospitality and wonderful atmosphere provided by Amanda and Dave really made my stay one to remember. The rooms are decorated wonderfully, with beautiful little touches to make it really feel like home - such as cosy dressing gowns, slippers, and eye masks. We stayed in the Leopard room for 10 days and... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. IT was very cold with snow on the mountains and our hosts ensured that the room was warm and that had everything we needed. The extra touches were appreciated. Thanks - we will return

We stay at self-catering places in South Africa a lot and as they go this was a very thought-through experience. Pity about really loud rain thru no insulation in the roof and no sponges to wash dishes

We stayed in the zebra room. The design of the room was great. I almost felt like a zebra myself (haha ;)). The host was very friendly. We had a nice and spacious room. The breakfast in the morning was very nice.

A hearty welcome by the hosts, speciality Rain soaps and lotions for guests, each room theme dedicated to a particular animal. The before-and-after pictures detailing the progress of the renovation process was interesting. Impangele offers a pleasant stay and loads of advice for curious tourists. It is affordable and very adequate for the local visitor passing through.

As I am in the travel and tourism industry I am very critical. * no soap could be found * torch was a nice touch but did not work * coffee was provided but no milk * value for money and served our purpose
