Chapmans Peak Hotel is delightful mix of elegant old world pleasures with modern accommodation in the new wing. The dining area and bar are old structures with plenty of wooden finishes. But it works well with fires blazing in the old fire places. We found the service to be very good. The waiter that served our table, Terry, is excellent... More

The recently refurbished hotel with a new wing offer comfortable, beautifully designed rooms with all the amenities. Room service was delicious and not overpriced as one often finds in hotels. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

We stay in the Northern Suburbs of CT. While training for the Two Oceans Ultra Marathon, our local club decided to have a training run on part of the two oceans route. The race started at 5:30 in the morning at the foot of Chapmanspeak. We decided (wisely) to book into the Chapmans peak hotel. Had an early dinner in... More

We were on a two day business trip. Prior to booking we had enquired about wi-fi in the rooms and were told that there was indeed free wi-fi in the room. When we discovered that it was not working and reported it we were told that it would be fixed the next day. Not so - this obviously created major... More

Great place to stay in Hout if you want a hotel. As a single traveller I needed an in-house evening restaurant and Chapmans fitted the bill. Great views and just cross the road in the morning and there is a superb 30 min walk across the beach and back. Choose a sea facing room and you will not be disappointed.... More

We had an enjoyable stay at this small hotel, the view from our room was lovely and the room was exceptionally clean, being a clean freak this was a pleasant suprise. The staff are helpful. On a negative the walls are paper thin so instead of falling asleep to the sound of the ocean you will fall asleep to the... More

My mom and I spent a wonderful 4 days at this beautiful little hotel. The hosts/receptionists were very friendly, and will go out of their way to make you feel at home - even if your request is frozen yoghurt in the middle of the night.. :-) The breakfast buffet is inviting and the pastries are fresh every morning. Staff... More

We treated ourselves to the penthouse suite - wow! Staff all very friendly. The restaurant was very good. Lovely babysitter Jessica took our 7 year old to the beach while we cycled /walked up the mountain.

As a family of 4, all adults, we stayed here for 4 nights. Receptions staff were very nice and helpful. We had rooms in the new wing which were lovely and big. Wifi was good. The negative about this hotel, surprisingly was the restaurant which I have reviewed separately. Basically we were very much looking forward to enjoying s lovely... More

Having visited the old hotel this recently re developed Establishment is world class and well priced at approx €100 B & B for 2 people in the new section but facing the rear. The arrival was fairly welcoming and secure parking made available. We had evening cocktails on the balcony but the service was very poor. The staff need to... More
