Thank you for the awesome hospitality. We stayed at Cap Serein with my newborn (our first holiday as a family). The owners were so accommodating! A camp cot next to my bed already set up awaited us upon arrival. They even had a little baby bath to bath my newborn in. My son fell asleep instantly after his bath! I... More

We stayed here for one night after my sister's wedding. It was really lovely and I would definitively recommend Cap Serein to any one who is looking for a little pampering. The owners were so accommodating and really made us feel at home. The rooms are lovely and the view exquisite! Thank you again for a lovely stay!

We had a lovely stay at Cap Serein. There is a jacuzzi which my husband and I enjoyed while overlooking the whole of Hout Bay. Our room was beautifully furnished with soft blankets. We really enjoyed the hostess Petra as we found she went out of her way to make our stay a relaxing and enjoyable one. A night under... More

Thank you Kurt & Petra for a wonderful time in Hout Bay. The room was beautiful and we enjoyed the fireplace and of course the scumptios breakfast (especially the scones). The B&B is located close to the Cape Town tour bus stop which made is very easy to get around even without a rental car. Kurt & Petra also offer... More

We stayed in the double room. There was only one bedside lamp and the Wi-Fi in the public areas worked very badly. We tried to connect on 2 mobile phones a laptop and a tablet but the signal was very weak and we had difficulty connecting. There is a possibility to have a meal there. The meal was very good... We are Cape Town locals and have frequented a number of hotels and bed and breakfasts. I can say with certainty that Cap Serein was impeccable. The small size allows for privacy, which cluttered B&B cannot offer, and they go the extra mile. A friendly face and welcome any time of the day or night you arrive (they accommodate you).... More

We stayed for 8 nights in Feb and was very happy as we had reservations about visiting SA. Cap serein is very secure and although certain parts in Cape town are avoided, the area where they are seems very calm, quiet and safe. Petra is a wonderful host with no problems with any amount of questions asked. Kurt is a... More

Cap Serein is a wonderful serene place in Hout Bay! We loved our stay there. The accomodation was very cosy and the Schramm's set everything up for our little son (cottage was provided with extra covers). For any questions we had, the Schramm's were more than willing to help us. I can hands down recommend Cap Serein for a stay... More

We stayed in Cap Serein for nearly three weeks (we had intended on staying for only 10 days but extended due to the VERY positive experience we had). The accommodation was immaculately clean and very homely, we stayed in the private cottage "Marseille" which we found excellent. It is also very private with its own garden. There is a large... More

This location is just South of Cape Town and North of Cape Point. It is the perfect distance from both and not in the busy city center. We spent our evenings enjoying dinner at various restaurants off the Cape and Ocean. The views were amazing. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and assisted me with daily plans and some must see...
