It was a lovely B&B the hosts were very good, only compliant we had was the TV in our room didn't work, it could only get one channel. Breakfast was excellent, and the facilities were very nice. Very central to the Frasnhoek village & host Tim very helpful with dinner reservations.

Tim and Nadine made both me and my partner feel extremely welcome in their fantastic guest house in Franschhoek. We only stayed 3 nights, but Tim was very helpful in securing reservations at some truly amazing restaurants for our visit, despite the late notice that I gave him. The guest house is very well situated, most of the village being... More

I cant praise this gem of an establishment enough. You arrive via a charming residential street dotted with cape houses and Ashbourne House is one of the prettiest and most pristine of them all. The front of the establishment is nicely secure but not barricaded as some Cape properties and has a small front garden with tables and chairs under... More

My wife and I visited Ashbourne Guest House last year when it was under previous ownership and were extremely impressed - so much so that we booked again this year for a three-week stay. Russell and John, the previous owners, were extremely gracious hosts and we didn't think it likely that last year's experience would be beaten - but we... More

It does not happen very often that our guests stay for three weeks - and we can say that it was an absolute pleasure to have you and your lovely wife as our guests, for not saying that you have become a part of the Ashbourne House family. Organizing the dinner reservations for you was lots of fun as you... More

Great location and very nice guest house. It's an easy walk to restaurants and even some vineyards. Owners had good suggestions for vineyards and bike routes, and breakfast was very good. We enjoyed our visit very much.

Ashborne House is the perfect way to stay when in Franshhoek. It's a true gem tucked away just by the main street. Clean, stylish and large rooms. A very nice shaded pool area and a nice porch to have your breakfast at. Tim and Nadine are the perfect hosts. Tim helped us get a table at a very nice restarant... More

Tim and his wife make you feel very welcome and has lots of good info and tips. One tip was to hire the bikes to see the vineyards, including Glenwood for lunch. Well worth doing. Nice, but small pool, and good place to relax after a hard day's wine-tasting!

A delightful place to stay in this beautiful area. Tim and Nadine are friendly and helpful and do all they can to make your stay a memorable one. The meal Tim booked for us at Cafe Bon Bon was amazing. We enjoyed time around the pool, which offered sun and shade. The breakfast selection was good and varied, the rooms... More
