The two women employees running the B&B are excellent. We struggled with other guests who came in late, made a lot of noise and partied until the early hours of the morning .With out an owner present to take charge of the situation it spoiled our stay.

Checking in was easy. The place is tucked away in a residential neighborhood a few blocks from the main street. Room was clean and pleasant, patio looked nice. Breakfast was simple but nice. Thumbs up

Situated on outskirts of town in leafy neighbourhood. Short walk into town handy but by car, parking a nightmare. Spacious guesthouse with large lounge and eating room. Pleasant terrace for sunny breakfasts. Comfy rooms with more than adequate plugs for charging facilities. Bedside tables small, no draws or shelf for mags or books, just enough space for clock and cup... More

Paul, who runs Erica Guesthouse, is the best host we ever had. The room was great, breakfast also and Paul's guidance to Franshhoek was splendid. We have no complains what so ever. If we ever visit Franshhoek again we will certainly visit Erica Guesthouse.

Bathrooms esp shower needed a good clean! Staff friendly but removed all our food items from fridge and only returned one item after queries. Blamed everything else on other guests. Disappointed by that.

We stayed there with my husband for 3 nights . The rating doesn't have an option for "good" so I had to choose "average" as "very good" doesn't reflect the b&b. The room was comfortable enough, cleanliness was fine but could be better. The cute part was the swimming pool area. Not very big but with lots of plants and... More

Spacious guesthouse and convenient location. Nice and quiet. Décor is very English and a little tired and old fashioned and could do with modernising. We were the only guests. Breakfast ok but we had been spoilt in comparison to other breakfast that we’ve had in South Africa. Outside it looked like they had lost one of their ratings as a... More

Excellent customer service, quiet location within walking distance from the centre of Franschhoek. Nice breakfast served on the terrace close to the pool. We stayed in a room with separate exit - great for morning coffee before breakfast.

Have stayed before when in Franschoek and as usual very happy with the guesthouse. Friendly staff, though owners were away. Clean, comfortable and easy 5 min walk to restaurants etc in town. My daughter and stayed in room number 5 (as a twin room) and had a very peaceful evening.

Well run, well appointed, comfortable and friendly stay for a weekend in Franschoek. Attractive pool area and breakfast deck. Convenient parking next to outside access door to room. Reasonably priced for single occupation. Will definitely stay there again and have recommended it to family and friends.
