Gable Manor Guest House is an all round great place to stay in Franschhoek. The rooms are luxurious, spacious, very clean and well mantained. Has excellent decor and serves a delectable breakfast included in the daily rates. We found the owners very knowledgeable about the area, restaurants and helpful with advice on places to visit. By good luck (and Portfolio) we were fortunate to stay in Gable Manor Guest House for a few days. It was a revelation, a very positive one. The comfortable rooms, personal service, advice and food were all excellent but what made it a truly Home from Home was the superb little features that are rarely met in hotels or guest... more

Attended annual literary book fair and stayed one night. Lovely B & B would definitely stay there again. Delicious breakfast more

Travelling for business can be tiresome, even stressful when accompanied by important clients from overseas, especially if the country of origin is France. One always worries whether they are comfortable, do they like the place, are they happy with the choice of accommodation etc? Well, no need to worry about any of these when staying at Gable Manor! Pure luxury, peace & tranquility are the hallmarks of this wonderful establishment which also offers probably the best breakfast in South Africa. Well done to all concerned and can't wait to come back. Highly recommended. more

This was our second stay at Gable Manor in less than 6 months. The Manor is the perfect place to stay to get the best out of a Franschoek visit. Loved our comfortable room with lavender bedecked linens, comfortable robes and private bath. Small pool was delightful after a day of sightseeing. Marlyn's breakfasts were fabulous. A terrific value! more
