We have stayed at La Petite Ferme every year for the last three years and loved it. This year we returned to find that it had changed hands which can be a worry, but only minor changes have been made and all for the better. Wifi in all the rooms is a major improvement along with flowers in the rooms,... More

We chose this restaurant due to a recommendation. We booked for an evening meal. We could not fault the location, the views were fantastic, the service was good, however we were disappointed with the menu. We felt that it lacked choice and a fish choice was missing. My wife had venison steak but sent it back to be cooked for... More

I booked over two months ago and we were given a wonderful table on the veranda. Returning to La Petite Ferme felt good. The views are stunning. Fabulous food and wine but it was a good thing that we had no other appointments! Our first course took well over an hour to arrive but it was worth the wait. It... More

The views of the vinyards that expanded out over the city of Franschhoek were great! The food was superb. For starter we ordered parma wraped baby camembert which is a must have. We had to book ahead of time as they are often full but it was well worth the time.

A stunning view if you can sit on the veranda. The menu is small enough to show that the chefs put thought into what is on it. The food is great and earns good comments from all who eat there. Pleasant and efficient staff serve the food in good time. Lovely. If there were not so many fantastic restaurants in... More

The rooms are beautifully decorated and luxurious. The rooms look right out onto the vineyards and into the valley - stunning. We had a private pool, although it was too cold for a dip! We had lunch at the restaurant, which was very special. Delicious food in a lovely atmosphere. The only downside was the breakfast - the food was... More

We had a great meal at La petite Ferme. We were a large group and the staff and management handled us well. Food was superb. We made it just in time for sunset and had magnificent views. Good food, wine and great friends. Nice way to start the year. Will be back.

We have stayed at La Petite Ferme many occasions and again decided to stay there during our December 2015 holidays - we stayed at one of the self-catering cottages (Pear Tree). We received a sincere welcome from the manager and were offered complimentary beverages and a cold hand towel, which we appreciated. The unit is quite basic but you have... More

Our family of 4 (kids aged 14 and 11) stayed at The Maison cottage for 2 nights in January. We were told that Maison and Pear Tree will no longer be part of the hotel and we can see why since they look tired and are in desperate need of an upgrade. The hotel itself is due an upgrade this... More

This is our third trip here to stay and I have been for lunch many a time. We had Geneva, Rm 5. A superb room, it really made the trip especially when it was 42.5 degrees and you wanted to stay inside. This room has two bathrooms for those who believe it is essential to a successful marriage. Essentially everything... More
