This resort requires more than 1 night which we experienced unfortunately. Our room was on the second floor - big and specious. Sleeping quality and the view from the balcony where terrific. The bathroom shower and bath were less comfortable and it needs an upgrade for luxury feeling. Internet did not work in our room and you need to climb... More

This hotel has a very nice setting. The staff are very helpful and really go out of their way to problem solve. But the hotel has many flies. For a hotel that rates itself as 5 star, that is unacceptable. The wifi was very poor, or non-existent many times in the rooms. Again unacceptable. Food was nothing to write home... More

Gorgeous French style rooms in a lovely setting. Attentive staff who couldn't do enough to help. Fantastic scenic setting. Only complaint was that there were no irons or ironing boards in the room to press clothes. None even available on request.

Thank you for a great, warm and relaxing stay at your hotel. Even 4 busy young boys did not disturb the peace and tranquility, especially your large crystal clear pool surrounded by Oaks and Poplars. Friendly responsive service and great food !!

A nice and hospitable hotel in the middle of the famous wine route. a great place to stay, though far as 3-4 km from the town's main street. Good for relaxation and recreation. spacious rooms and a good dinner restaurant.

We were supposed to stay at the hotel from one day to the next. The reception at check in was good. We were a traveling companion for two families (myself and my wife and my brothers family). We wanted a nice dinner in the hotel resturant something it was not. The waitress had no knowledge waht so ever of about... More

Visited in September for a friends wedding. Alot of the accommodation was full, with Le Franschhoek one of the only reputable places with accommodation. We booked, and got a nice rate through hotels.com From check-in we were made to feel very welcome, check-in process slick, and rooming was not over the top, and good. Everything in the room was great,... More

Very impressed with the hotel. You get more than you pay for. It's a brilliant setting, the staff are great and the rooms are well equipped and perfect for those with high expectations and standards. We were privileged to stay in the hotel. It is removed from the town, incredibly peaceful and yet close enough that you still feel involved!

Spacious & airy with splendid view of mountains; superb breakfast buffet, well equipped rooms. Friendly helpful staff. Annoyingly free wifi internet is only available on public areas or has to be paid for in-room. Surprisingly, despite several attempts it proved impossible to obtain a resident bottle opener; instead barman was promptly dispatched to provide an in-room bottle opening service each... More

Wonderful stay! Beautiful settling, warm hospitable people, lovely hotel and outstanding food and wine. Such a treat and incredibly relaxing. I can't wait for us to go back again! We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived until the second we left!
