This guesthouse is conveniently located close to the main street in Franschhoek yet it provides a calm and serene place to rest an recover. The staff were helpful and friendly giving suggestions of where to eat and what to do.

We really enjoyed our 3 day stay. The staff were wonderful, so friendly nothing was any trouble. Very clean, nice clean pool area. We would come back for sure. Our room was very comfortable not luxurious, lovely comfortable bed. The sitting room had great big armchairs and sofas a great place to sit and read. Plenty of choices for breakfast.... More

From the arrival till our departure,we felt like royalty. The staff went out of their way to help us in any way possible, from private dining for one of our party who could not make it to the breakfast room because of wheelchair difficulties,to telling us funny stories and making us laugh.Thank you all,we loved it.

A beautiful old villa in the centre of Franschoek with the most welcoming and friendly staff I have ever met. The hotel rooms are around the old villa, high ceilings meant we didn't need the air con on that much. We had a private garden, but spent our time in the hotel relaxing on the stunning veranda looking out over... More

This place is very peaceful, old style decor, friendly service, with a lovely terrace and garden. I liked the informality of the place (where you can walk through the kitchen to get to the dining room). Also a short walk into town. Breakfast was excellent. Our room had its own private garden court and large bathroom. There is also a... More

The residence suffers from the common layout in SA where there is a central lounge area surrounded by the rooms, it is gloomy and needs a serious makeover. As one of a few couples there we were disturbed and dominated by a large family group with 5 children who treated the place as if they were at home with no... More

A perfect place to relax (a beautiful garden and pool) or to explore Franschhoek, delicate breakfast, nice rooms with a private pool, very friendly and helpful staff, restaurants and places of interest in walking distance,

What a friendly guest house/B&B! Fantastic rooms, nothing too difficult and great setting in town! Walk to town will take 2 mins... Slightly more expensive than other B&B's in the area, but was more than happy to pay when we checked out after the stay we had. It is a very relaxed environment... We will be back!

What a stunning, peaceful stay this was. Georgeos house, beautiful rooms, stunning central location, beautifully decorated. We were in the room with jacuzzi deck and the room was really all we had hoped for. The only suggestion I could make for the room is to include a hairdryer. Then on to the negative. Breakfast was horrible!Firstly walking through the kitchen to... More

Dear Danielle, Thank you for the feedback it is most appreciated. We do strive to make sure all our guests are happy and comfortable. We do in fact have eight hairdryers, one for each room, kept at reception, this is listed in our facilities on most websites. From experience we find it safer to keep them at reception and monitor their...
