On arrival for our 2 night stay we were warmly welcomed before being shown to our upstairs Auberge Luxury room which is one of those set around the pool and gardens and offered great views of the mountains in the distance. The room was spacious and well appointed with all the amenities of a top of the range hotel. The... More

This is one of the places were you just enjoy staying. We were very warmly welcomed and after that treated very well. Very nice rooms, very nice staff, very nice surroundings with a pool, spa, a very good and healthy breakfast, and so on. We also had great massages, and a great dinner at the Tasting Room. Very enjoyable!

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in November 2014. The hotel is centrally located in Franschhoek Village and is within 5-10 minutes walk of everything that you would need. There is plenty of parking on site behind a secure gate. Our room was spacious and even had an open fire which could be lit if... More

Arriving in Franschhoek this hotel is located at one end of the main road in a quiet location. The first impressions were fantastic with a very tasteful reception area and beautiful small pool, around which most of the rooms were set. The rooms themselves were very spacious, homely and well equipped. There was a lovely bar at the front of the... More

My husband and I wandered the street early on a Tuesday evening and wandered into this restaurant for a drink thinking it was a cocktail bar. We chose our drinks and ended up ordering some of the tapas. Service was great and the tapas was truly special - popcorn prawns with lime salt (amazing) chicken satay (best ever) delicious duck... This place belongs in Europe. The staff is so charming, welcoming and happy to see you. Any wish you have, they will fulfill. The rooms are all unique and amazing. Our 2nd story room #6 had huge vaulted ceilings, a view of the pool and the most amazing linens and amenities. Oh, and it was HUGE. The other lovely thing... More

We were upgraded to a suite which was a lovely surprise...the room was spacious, beautifully decorated and finished to a high standard. The underfloor heating and... More

We recently visited Le Quartier Francais as part of our honeymoon trip and our two night experience in this beautiful venue was one of the highlights of our holiday. The moment we arrived we were greeted by hotel manager Roger who upgraded us to one of the Four Quarter suites, a stunning suite nestled in a private courtyard with just... More
