We spent 3 nights in an Auberge room (#6) on 2nd level overlooking central pool with the majestic mountains as a backdrop. Absolutely enjoyed our stay. The staff are marvellous, always smiling & wanting to ensure you are looked after. We were made to feel at home & nothing seemed too much trouble. The fireplace is lit every evening &... More

Le Quartier Fransçias is a exquisite boutique hotel. Inventive and yet never over the top, the whole experience is very stimulating yet simultaneously refined and soothing. The courtyard pool area is a little slice of heaven, and the spacious rooms are outfitted perfectly. Summer or Winter, this little hotel that could will delight you. That their restaurant, The Tasting Room,... More

We spent two very special nights at lovely Le Quartier Francais. We felt like we had our own little cottage that was stylish yet very comfortable. Right outside of our bedroom was our own private pool and patio which we thoroughly enjoyed. Gorgeous views from our bedroom and the bathroom of the mountains. The hotel is located right in the... This is a lovely lovely hotel. Very stylish but very cosy. Beautiful setting surrounded by the mountains. Very helpful front desk staff. The rooms are very spacious and in winter they have real fires. The restaurant (reviewed separately) was lovely too.

We had an exceptional visit at LQF earlier this month. Our room felt so homey. We took advantage of having a fireplace every night and the floors were heated in the bathroom. They also heat the foot of the bed which is really nice. It was my husband's birthday while we were there and they went out of their way... More

We spent two nights and were delighted with our room which had a working fireplace and was always prepared to be lit. the furnishings were attractive and the hostesses lovely. Although it faced on to the main street of the town the rooms are on the quiet side of the hotel.

Stayed for a couple of nights post a business trip in Cape Town. Wow - a lovely boutique hotel with a fabulous room. A nice pool in a relatively enclosed area with fantastic mountain views. We also ate in the restaurant and had, as with our previous visit, a superb meal. It's a lovely town and if you are in... More

Franschhoek is a beautiful town in the wine region and this hotel has got to be the gem of the area. The rooms are quaint, but luxurious, with beautiful view of the mountains. There is a pool (though too cold to use in winter), and outstanding breakfast in the restaurant. Not to mention that arguably the best restaurant on the... More

We love staying here. Located right in the wonderful town you can enjoy all the local shops and restaurants. It's totally safe. The hotel service is outstanding. Even a hot water bottle in your bed when you come back! I highly recommend it. The fine dining we enjoyed on one night. Outstanding

We arrived on a rather cloudy winters day but Franschhoek was still beautiful. The town is small with a few quite exclusive shops on the main street. We were buzzed in at the gate of Le Quartier Francais, parking in the parking lot. The entrance is a little uninspiring. We were met initially by a big smiling face from the... More
