My husband and I were fortunate to receive a two-night stay at Lequaf as a birthday/anniversary gift from our son who resides abroad. He spent six months in Franschoek when qualifying as a chef and always regards this as his culinary home. Wow, were we impressed! From the personalised warm greeting, through to an unforgettable evening in the tasting room... More

I had a short stay at Lequaf during a longer holiday in the region. The Franschhoek sparkling wine and champagne festival was on and took place a short walk away. The property is in the middle of town and is very easy to get to. There was ample car parking at the back of the property. The welcome I had... More

My partner and I are staying here for 5 nights before heading off on a safari. We wanted a special bolt hole whilst we enjoyed all the culinary and wine delights that Franschhoek offers and we weren't disappointed. After a very pleasant and informative transfer from CT airport, we were greeted and taken for a short tour of the property... More

Our two week South African vacation ended with a one night stay at LQF and dinner at the tasting room. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for. From the moment you are greeted by the staff at reception to the moment you leave, the experience is delightful and rejuvenating. Our room (15) was beautifully appointed and had... More

We had a very pleasant three nights there in November while visiting the local wineries. The staff were always cheerful and helpful. The rooms were enormous and we even had a fire lit in ours. The Tasting Rooms was a wonderful experience - atmosphere was informal and the food excellent. I hope we will be back

We have had a wonderful time at this fabulous hotel! The room (number 2) was stunning and the pool area is gorgeous! We had the 8 course taster menu which was great! Love love this wonderful hotel! We will return!

We just came here for breakfast one morning, very pleasant, good choice of food very nicely presented, nice atmosphere. Supposed to be one of the best spots in town for breakfast and I would certainly come back.

On arrival for our 2 night stay we were warmly welcomed before being shown to our upstairs Auberge Luxury room which is one of those set around the pool and gardens and offered great views of the mountains in the distance. The room was spacious and well appointed with all the amenities of a top of the range hotel. The... More

This is one of the places were you just enjoy staying. We were very warmly welcomed and after that treated very well. Very nice rooms, very nice staff, very nice surroundings with a pool, spa, a very good and healthy breakfast, and so on. We also had great massages, and a great dinner at the Tasting Room. Very enjoyable!
