We recently returned to La Petite Dauphine for our second visit, almost two years later. We were instantly at peace when we drove through the gates & looked at the beautiful scenery. It is truly a stunning place. Stefan greeted us warmly & was as friendly and helpful as ever. Last time we had room 5 which we loved, but... More

We celebrated our wedding in La Petite Dauphine on the 6th January this year. The location, service and food were a dream come true. Having planned the entire event from internationally the assistance of Marie Louise was essential but her friendliness and attention throughout the planning phase and on the day exceeded my very high expectations, as did the location... We stayed in the Junior suite which has a good mountain view over the fruit trees. Secluded and private. The suite is well appointed and includes Wi-Fi connection. One unsatisfactory feature is a toilet and storage facility for cleaning staff and other workers attached to the end of the building. Flushing toilets , cell phone conversations and noise of other... A piece of heaven in Franschoek beautifully manicured gardens, vineyards, olive groves and plum trees. Attention to detail is evidenced everywhere perfect place to appreciate natural beauty the chalets are exquisitely decorated with fireplaces and unique pieces of art in fact not sure to enjoy the rooms or enjoy the nature so much to appreciate and too little time. We booked a 3 day stay over Christmas and were in Villa 8 a one bedroom massive secluded villa on the estate. My mother and I luxuriated for those 3 nights outside the villa by our own plunge pool on the deck chairs or reed chairs and watched the mountains around us. The villa had loads of luxuries within it... More

Having stayed several times in Franshhoek, and having eaten previously at Cafe Bon Bon, we stayed here this year. We had a superb room and were very happy with our accommodation during our stay. Shame that at this price, the pool was not heated and so could not be used. Stefan at reception was amazing, always on hand, always with... More

This place is around 2 miles outside of the main town and is totally luxurious! We were in Villa 9 which is one of the more remote villas but was less than 5 minutes walk to the main restaurant and reception. The greeting and check in was excellent! Stefan could not have been more helpful. The villa was beautifully furnished... More

Peace and quiet in a rural location. We had suite number 9 and the view of the mountains was amazing. The room was to a high standard and everything you needed was in there, I really loved the wood finishes. Felt very safe on this estate even though the cabins were a little remote (which is what we wanted). We... More

A lovely place to chill out and relax. The suites are large and tastefully decorated and were ideally located next to two pools(unheated). The grounds are beautiful and it was so nice to sit outside and chill. Staff very helpful on arrival and during our stay. The guided wine tour was a good option with plenty of tastings and a...
