My husband and I booked Centre-Ville for the evening before New Years Eve and New Years Eve itself. We had just come from the Garden Route Game Lodge in Albertinia and we were headed back for one night in Cape Town afterwards before we flew home to the US. Oh my! This place is so nice! We booked the Honeymoon... More

This is a first class B&B situated perfectly in Franschhoek full of eye catching memorabilia.Lovely room on the ground floor, everything that you would want is there. Breakfast as you would wish for. The icing on the cake? I had paid the bill, we left to go to a winery and on to the airport and driving through Stellenbosch thought... More

Owners are really friendly and nice people, the place offers an excellent location to explore the wineries and to go to nearby restaurants. In the summer rooms get really hot though as they are under the roof and even with air conditioning it is still too warm at night.

This was the fourth time we have stay here, we always have the Splendour Room which has its own private decking. The breakfast must be one of the best in South Africa. Proper back bacon instead of the horrible crisp bacon most places use. Elsa & Jaco who own and run the b & b are excellent hosts. You are... More

Great location.Close to "town" and all the lovely eateries. Very friendly hosts and full of ideas of where to eat etc. My Mom was not too well and they were great with her. The B & B is a bit tried could do with a bit of a make over.

Good Afternoon Thank you for your review and it is our pleasure to treat our guest with the best service. I am not sure what you mean with tired because this IS AN HISTORIC Guest House with antique furniture but our linen is crisp and new and if the Guest House was tired I would definitely not get 4-star grading.... A lovely couple run this guesthouse and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Our room was very comfortable and quaint. We had two dormer windows with sloping ceilings, which necessitated care around the edges of the room to avoid knocking your head. We soon got used to it. Breakfast, depending on the weather, was served either around the pool... More

You step in to a world the could be from a bygone time, as if the decor as not changed in a 100 years with old family photos on the wall, to the grand light fitting through the house. Everything is just as the correct feel. And the breakfast table is a work of art it must take hours to... More

Our stay at Centreville was very enjoyable, particularly so because of our very accommodating hosts and very helpful staff. Elsa and Jaco were more than willing to help us with our tourist inquiries, tips about the local area and so on. They greeted us and showed us to our upgraded room (thanks again for this great surprise!), from which there... More

Very nice place even if our room, Sensational, was just a bit small. Anyway it wasn't a problem because we staied there just for a night. The hosts are very very nice and the breakfast in the garden was absolutely delicious and peaceful for our souls. Thanks a lot!
