We were simply taken aback when we walked up to the hotel. The views around every angle of the hotel are stunning and we loved all the little finishing details. The staff couldn't have been more helpful in recommending different places to visit and explore around Franschhoek. We stayed in a suite overlooking the lake with an outside shower and... More

A perfectly run and appointed Hotel up on the hill slopes overlooking Rust en Vrede Wine Estate. The rooms are extremely comfortable and set up for self catering - not that good food is not available . . . the Cape is the epicurean centre of South Africa - and the Franschoek Valley stands out in this respect. The co-ordinates... More

What a great place! From the picturesque surrounding to the silent tranquility, Angala has it all. I spent three nights there and just didn't want to leave. The rooms were stunning and more then I hoped for with personal touches like chocolates at your bedside and a personal note to welcome you. Service was fantastic and everything I asked for... More

Angala is the perfect place for some days in the Winelands, for relaxation and as a base for discovering this beautiful part of South Africa. We stayed there two days at the start of our journey and we were well received and treated. The staff is attentive and serviceminded and they can help you with advices, bookings etc for your... Dear Angala Team, we arrived in the middle of the night, and even in the dark, were taken away by such a beautiful place to spend the next 5 days. Wonderful accomodation, delicious food, charming and lovely service throughout our stay, no wish or request was too much, even having set a table right in front of the fireplace outside... More

We had a truly wonderful experience at Angala Boutique Hotel and it is definitely our first choice whenever we visit this area again. Our rooms were superb, the food was excellent and the team and staff fantastic. Thank you very much, we will be back.

We stayed at Angala for 3 of our 5 nights in the wine region - we wished we had stayed for all 5! What a beautiful boutique hotel, the room, fixtures, fittings, location, service, food all superb! Cant fault it in any way. The owner and all staff were really helpful and relaxed. Its small, fairly quiet and off the... More

Lovely location, peaceful, quiet with stunning views from the spacious terrace. The natural pool is a refreshing change, though beware the slippery steps! Our welcome was friendly, and our cottage had everything one could ask for, including a large, private outdoor showering area. We are in the restaurant for our first evening and were not disappointed. The food was quite... More

We stayed at tha Angala in January 2015. The hotel sits close to the mountains, so you'll see amazing sunsets surrounded by beautifully lit monutains. The rooms are beautifully equipped and upgraded to the latest standards. It's worth dining at Angala too, as the chef's cuisine was excellent. When not going on a wine tour, I'd szuggest relaxing by the... More

We were there just a couple days but very good experience. Very nice hotel in the vineyards. Room is so beautiful with a outside shower. Nice view and good service. Also food is very good. Not more to say, but if you stay as a couple in this area it is nice place to have a peaceful time!
