We had a wonderful stay last weekend at Angala. This place is so beautiful, peaceful and friendly. The rooms, the eco pool and the restaurant are wonderful! This is the most amazing guesthouse I ever stayed. The staff is very friendly and happy. Excellent service! You feel very welcome. The food is very, very delicious and the whole atmosphere is... Just spend a working weekend at Angala. We were treated like Royalty, given the best suites and food imaginable. Paul, the maitre'd was amazing. Well spoken and perfectly mannered. The food was top class, beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. I am not really a fillet eater, but the fillet I tried on Friday night was melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The hotel... More

Even though the weather was not on our side, we had absolutely the most wonderful visit to Angala Boutique Hotel and Guest House. From the minute we arrived we were treated like loyalty but at the same time we had our privacy. The accommodation is just superb! Everything of the very best! Huge indoor shower as well as an outdoor... More

A wonderful lunch at Angala. The setting the venue out standing. Complimented with warm friendly and professional team. The cuisine was mouth watering and a delight to the pallet. Beautiful bedrooms, wrap around stoep, with a eco friendly swimming pool. Looking to stay in the Winelands this is the place to stay

Whilst on holiday in Cape Town, my boyfriend and I decided to go to visit Franschoek for a couple of days, and stayed at the Angala Hotel following a friend's advice. I have to say this was one of the highlights of our trip! The place is beyond beautiful, the service is outstanding and the quality of the food, room... More

Having stayed at Angala on two separate occasions, and being thoroughly impressed on every category of measure, I felt compelled to write a review. Here you will find tranquil surroundings, breathtaking scenery, impeccable service, convenience, exclusivity and ultimate luxury converging in a single, memorable experience. This is a truly 'boutique' five star hotel, situated in the upper reaches of Vrede... More

I brought my boyfriend here this weekend to celebrate his birthday with a little romantic getaway. Firstly, the service I received via email and telephone was absolutely outstanding. Communication is key to great customer service, and Angala have that perfected! Upon arrival, we were given a warm reception and greeting, a tour of the breath taking property and as I... More

Very nice little cottage, clean and attractive. The place has recently been renovated and features a few attractive things such as complimentary Nespresso capsules & mini bar items, heated bathroom flooring, etc. Although there are excellent dining options in Franschhoek and Stellenbosh, I would recommend having super at least once at Angala during your stay there. The food was very... More
