This is one of my favorite camps in Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. The units are spacious and have a great braai deck in front of the separate kitchen unit. Overlooks a long waterhole/trough in the valley below. Have seen Lion and Caracal at this waterhole. It's an unfenced wilderness camp which makes it. All the more special.

We spend two nights at the tented camp, great accommodation on the dunes, well equip self catering units - the view over the dunes and waterhole is breath taking. staff friendly - very close to Mata Mata for your basic needs. game viewing very good in the area lots of animals around the waterholes - lot of cheetah sightings near... The tented accommodation is comfortable and well equipped with separate bedroom/bathroom and kitchen tents linked by a private outdoor braai area. The situation of the camp, south of Mata Mata facilitates the spread of vehicles during the early morning 'rush' to get out game viewing. The sleeping tent is on stilts which does mean it is cold in winter as... More

A lovely camp site, high quality experience and probably one of the best sites overlooking a riverbed - where we watched lions drinking water. Complaint: Sanpark employees drive at very high speeds along the Mata Mata and Twee Rivieren road - watch out when stopping around blind bends to watch birds or animals!

We has an awesome stay here. We stayed 2 nights in a normal unit and then we stayed in the honeymoon unit. The only difference is that the honeymoon unit is bigger and has a queen bed. Both units were very well equipped, everything you need. Neat and well maintained. Great view to the river bed below. The game rangers... More

We stayed there on out way through the park to Namibia. Its a perfect overnight stop. The bungalows overlook the river bed and there was some wildlife in presence. Each unit has its own separate kitchen that leads out onto your private patio. The well apointed roomy bedroom en-suite leads onto the same little patio that has its own braai... More

This is one of the few tented camps that allow kids and families. The camp is unfenced and the views over the riverbed and waterhole are absolutely amazing even when no animals are to be seen. Any of the units are great but unit 1, the "honeymoon tent" is probably worth the extra bit. It is slightly larger and, set... More

This camp is stunning in how quiet it is and with the most amazing views down on the river bed and water hole which is always active with animals. The sounds at night from various animals moving around is the best way to fall asleep. This camp runs off solar panels so has no fans or cooling system so can... More

Also our second stay in this camp, again staying in the (only) honeymoon tent (having a double bed), the kitchen is in a seperate tent and you've got a large terrace. As an accomodation in Kgagalagadi this must be the best we had by far, well maintained, clean, everything still working and an excellent camp manager whom came by a... More

I love this camp, we were so lucky when we checked in the manager said he needed to check it was safe as a huge male lion had been just outside our tent. He came down with us and allowed us to move in with the lion watching and snoozing right next to the patio. Several of the staff came... More
