It was a real priviledge to stay at !Xaus Lodge. It is a true wilderness experience. It is run in an environmentally friendly way and also supports the local San people. The location and views over the pan are exceptional. The food and service are fantastic and rooms with balconies are clean and lovely. Go to see the night skies... More

This lodge is in an outstanding setting and the staff makes it a very enjoyable experience. + We were the only people at the lodge so we had the lodge to ourselves making it an exclusive vacation.. :-) + When we were there, they had a new manager with culinary background and oh man I loved my food sooo much..!!!... We booked here, because all the Camps in the Park were full. We saw it as very expensive. From the moment of our arrival we were treated as valued guests. Upon arrival we were offered drinks and snacks while being told what the Lodge is all about. This lodge is in the most stunning position overlooking a pan. The rooms... More

!Xaus Lodge is really an extraordinary place, not least because on top of the superb service and luxurious accommodations, this is a San (Bushmen) owned project that creates meaningful employment and brings profits back into the community. The combination of deeply knowledgeable Meir and San guides and the professional and welcoming guidance of the new manager, Richard Ilett create a... More

It was such a great experience to stay at !Xaus. I am so happy that we were able to spend two nights there instead of only one. We would have missed some of their activities. We drove all the way into the lodge which added to the whole experience. As soon as we arrived we felt right at home. The... More

It was lovely to hear your feedback, especially your understanding that !Xaus Lodge is not a one-night destination. We hope that your next visit to this beautiful world will be for a longer period, giving you even more time to get the red sands of the Kalahari between your toes - and into your heart. More

We spent four nights here at the lodge and it was stunning. You are really away from it all out here, you leave the world behind totally to take in the silence of the isolation around you. The wildlife of the area is wide and varied and the hospitality of the Mier and the San is simply wonderful. Thank you... More

Do you appreciate the quietness, the beauty of the dunes, nature at its best ... and a beautiful style of comfort to go with it? Our third visit in 5 years. Still a very good room standard and the guides (Mier and San) knowledge of his environment and the parks animals was (as usual) outstanding.
