A lovely secluded place to stay. The lodge is tucked away down a 2km track which was perfectly driveable in our mid size hire care. We stayed here for 2 nights while we explored the Panorama Route. Evening meal (no choice - 3 courses - large portions) was very good and well priced as was the bar. All the staff... More

We had a very nice stay for 2 days at Hamilton Park. The surrounding is very nice to get used to South Africa. Nearby you can easily go to the Kruger Park and God's Window. Pancakes are very nice and nearby. The 3 rondavels are nearby. Just visit Hamilton Parks.

This was one of the more expensive stops on our trip and frankly, one of the least pleasant. As noted by others, it is located about halfway down the side of a mountain on a very, very, long narrow drive. This means two things: 1. you really don't get to enjoy the magnificent views from the top of the mt.,... More

Accommodation was in a large cottage with a small balcony. Everything was perfect except there were no toiletries provided so we had to go to town for shampoo etc. Minor trivia like this can annoy guests but we could not complain about the dinners, which was freshly made, nicely presented and delicious. Breakfast was equally good. The only drawback is... More

Hamilton park country logde is About 10 km from hazyview. After a 2 km driveway you end up at a logde with early 19th style dutch cottages. The rooms are huge and the whole place breathes honeymoon material. There is a nice bar, the breakfast is great and you can have diner there. Diner is no choice, you have to... More

Once youve driven down the concrete two track road down into the valey about 2 km off the main road, this place is full of surprises, but only good ones ! The owners are really friendly and makes one feel at ease straight away. The main house where they serve breakfast and dinner is tastefully decorated, specially the foyer area,... More

A great place to start tours to the Kruger Park or the surrounding mountains. Great hosts; very helpful interested. The rooms a very spacious and have an open fire place, very romantic. Wood is provided. Breakfasts and dinners are very good. The bar is a cosy place and the choice of drinks huge. The lodge and its surrounding is a... More

We found the location ideal, out in the bush miles from anywhere and it was so good to have a TV in the bedroom. The owner e-mailed us asking if we wanted dinner, we were so pleased we had said yes as there was no where else near by but more importantly the food was really good. Special care was... More

I've spend 23 days in a row in South Africa in different accomodations and Hamilton Parks was without a doubt one of the best! The owners (man and wife) are really laidback and friendly. The place itself is located near Hazyview in the middle of the bush. I've got to admit, when we took the downhill road (bit rocky and... More

This is a family owned and operated lodge and preserve nestled off the road along the main path to Hazyview, Mpumalanga South Africa. If you plan to visit Kruger Park Preserve this should be your resting place! Kirt is the owner, manager, chef, and a tour advisor with a smile as big as himself. It is a bit tricky to... More
