The service by the owner and staff is superb. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are huge and comfortable. Dinner was very good and so totally unexpected. The pub is cosy and friendly to meet other guests. The packed breakfast for the Kruger Park was good and very welcome. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. The proximity... More

This is by far the most beautiful lodge we stayed in in S.A. Tucked away in a quiet valley and well-secured, this lodge has a beautifully decorated reception and bar. There is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere on the premises. The room was even better: spatious and beautiful, with its own fireplace, candles, tall white walls, good bathroom under a... More

We were only able to stay for one night and unfortunately arrived after dark, so we didn't get to take advantage of what was clearly a very cool accommodation. The room was comfortable and we were very grateful that the host let us have a late dinner in the restaurant. Dinner was delicious! The drive down to the property was... More

This was an overnight stay after a week at Kruger Park. The lodge is close to Hazyview ( 11kms) but is in the country. Welcoming host Kurt made us feel at home . Room very comfortable and dinner and breakfast great . The best part was the reasonable prices.

We stayed only one night, but wish it could have been a few more nights. Kurt and his staff are very welcoming and helpful. They will feed you like kings and queens! The rooms are large and comfortable. You might be lucky and see some of the nature which surrounds the property. The driveway is quite long and sharp on... More

This is a genuinely great lodge, conveniently located for visits into Kruger NP, or other superb private game reserves. The owner, Kurt, obviously has a lot of experience in running the lodge. On top of being an awesome chef who delivers great and varied food every night, he and his family and staff can cover all your needs, from park... More

We stayed just 1 night at Hamilton Parks and found it to be very nice. The cottages are beautiful, solid stone with thatched roof, nestled in the valley and surrounded by forest. They were very clean and spacious - we had the family cottage. The big house is beautifully decorated with lots of historical items spotted around the place. The... More

Staff :The hosts are very friendly and someone is always available to assist or chat. Food: breakfast was very good. We had one dinner meal at the house which was ok. Location: very close to kruger park but as we were mainly doing Blyde River canyon it wasn't ideal. Facilities:limited onsite. There are lots of activities in the Hazyview area... More

A delightful place in a lovely location, very close to Hazyview and Kruger National Park. Kurt and the rest of the team were really friendly and helpful with a good store of friendly advice on what to do and where to eat in the area. The family room was large, but the location (deep in a valley) meant that access... More

Stayed at Hamilton Lodge as an overnight on our way to Kruger and was not dissapointed. The welcome and attention throughout our stay was first class. The evening meal and breakfast were both excellent. The owners can't do enough to help without being imposing. Would certainly recommend to others. Missing the local beer and wine already!
